I loved the proximity of the apartment to the local shopping center which offered convenience to everyday needs. The neighbourhood is quiet, offering much peace as well as the short walking distance to the beautiful and nearby Sunset Beach.

Our experience at Lazy Days Guest House was exceptional. The location is perfect—situated in a safe and peaceful area, just a short walk from the beach. The room was spacious and well-equipped with a variety of facilities, making our stay comfortable and convenient. We felt completely safe throughout our visit, and it was reassuring to have our car securely parked within the property. Highly recommended for a relaxing and worry-free getaway!
There was absolutely nothing to dislike—unless you count the fact that we eventually had to leave!

The location is great. Very quiet.
The bed was the worst bed we had ever slept in. It was so uncomfortable and we dont believe it's been replaced in years!. Absolutely awful.
The duvet cover, sheets, and pillows were old and need to be thrown away!
The shower was just disgusting and full of black mould, as was the shower curtain, which we cleaned ourselves with mould remover.
The toilet was constantly blocked, the kitchen sink didn't drain and smell of the municipal dustbin right outside the lounge stank. It too hadn't been cleaned in ages!
The outside shower drain stank so much and because it crept into our bedroom, we had to keep our windows closed.
As we travel to CT to see our kids, we try different self catering places all the time.
In all honesty, this was just shocking, and the worst place we have ever stayed at. With a rate at R1200 per night, it was a complete rip off.
The entire place needs a complete maintenance overhaul.
Definitely not recommended.

Blinds in front of the windows are totally see through at night from the outside and lets to much light in. Hampers sleep.

It was close to where we needed to be.
The shower water runs out super slow so you end up standing in a pool of water the whole time.
We didn’t have hot water the night and morning. Jill came and it was sorted eventually but the excuses and then her being a volunteer and she is “not there” really was inconsequential to us and didn’t help remedy the situation or our moods after a ice cold shower on a cold morning!
We forgot some drinks and our water bottle in the fridge. When on the road - not even an hour later- I sent a message to Jill, saying we forgot to empty the fridge but will arrange for our son to collect it as he stays close by, we were told the cleaner takes everything that is left but the water bottle is with her. This was just the cherry on the cake for us. We would have appreciated a message saying we left stuff in the fridge and given us the opportunity to decide, this would have been the correct way of doing it.

Great place to stay in Cape Town, short walk to the beach, all amenities in close proximity, friendly and extremely helpful staff. Clean and tidy apartment.
