I liked the service from the maintenance person, Clinton, and also from the porter, Llewellyn.
Our room was right at the end of the floor, close to the staff communal toilet.
Clinton tried to get us moved to a new room since the patio door in our room was faulty. He also brought us a fan to counter the heat after complained that the aircon was not working properly. The reception staff refused to assist. Their excuse is that there was a mining indaba in Cape Town and they were fully booked. This was their response to any requests. I believe that we deserve the same level of service as any big mining company executive because we all pay the same rate.

Clean modern rooms. The restaurant food was outstanding.
first room we got overlooked pool, almost on same level so people on pool deck could see into our room, and a dirty flat roof as a view (room 303). The staff moved us the next day to 332. The Nescafe coffee machine does not work. Toilet seats in both rooms cheap and almost broken off. First room one chair on patio! All balconies are supposed to have 2 chairs and a table. Our friends in 404 had nothing! Second room had this. Second room shower almost floods the room because of bad levelling on tiles! Managers need to check the rooms more thoroughly for the problems listed above.

The hotel is managed very well, I can't complain about anything. I liked how quick the response time was to our requests, the good attitude and efforts shown by the staff is top tier. I also loved the buffet offered for breakfast ??excellent work by the chef and the team. I like how tidy and comfortable the entire place was, the pool is highly maintained and the rooms are well taken care of daily, all in all my stay was very very good, I will definitely come back again.
The day I had to check out ?I did not want to leave because I really loved it.

The breakfast was nice.
The room I stayed in was super bad, it had croackaches and even under the table on my bedside it had croackaches.
The cleaning staff would come very late to clean my room, I was not happy at all. I was too busy attending the conference that is why I did not even find time to lodge the complaint, also even the bedding was not entirely clean and the towels as well. The staff where you eat breakfast on Monday they were not nice, I asked for spoon and they gave me a cold stare and said there is a cutlery on the tables why I am asking for a spoon and worse thing is that I felt so embarrassed as to why I even asked. When I get on the table there were no spoons on sight, it was just a fork and a knife, and I needed to use a spoon. I did not like that.

Beautiful view. Staff friendly. Enjoyed our 2nd visit. Big choice for breakfast. Lovely place to stay.
Room floor was a bit grubby.
Shower floor is slippery when wet so was a bit of concern. Would love some small form of storage in bathroom. Main lock on room door didnt lock properly so a definite security concern.

I was on the 4th floor and enjoyed the ocean view from my room. Breakfast was also excellent accompanied by great, friendly service from the gentleman who prepared the omelette.
The room looked clean at surface level but the carpets and throw on the bed could use a deep clean. One of the cups provided in the kitchen section was not clean. It looked like it had been used and not washed thoroughly.

Fantastic location and good spacious rooms. Comfortable bed . Halal chef was very polite and made pleasant omelette .
Didn’t vacuum my room after I spoke to the cleaner, I even called the reception twice and they assured me it would be done . It wasn’t. The next day they didn’t vacuum again. Very disappointing.
There were not enough towels at the pool, after I requested 2 , they brought one as said this is all they have .the pool area wasn’t full , so this lack of organization and help was very unpleasant.
At breakfast the chef making the pancakes was very un- mannered at treated my wife as if she was a kid. Ignoring her greeting and being very dismissive.
Also , there was a dead cockroach in my closet.

I have been to many 4 star hotels. The breakfast buffet is mediocre only ate fruit the rest was inedible
The staff not very helpful at breakfast. I had to call someone to clean tables
The spa is a joke for the amount of money we spent . Girls are not experienced for 3 hours session did not offer water. I was dehydrated ..service was mediocre
Restaurant food basic ..not many options for 2 nights stay we went to the OB 2nd night

The room was incredibly spacious with a modern setup, featuring a glorious bathroom. It felt clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a highlight—an awesome buffet with tasty, fresh options that kept us energized for the day. We had a view on the swimming pool. I absolutely loved the prime location right on the marina, which meant easy walks to restaurants and the beach, plus the friendly staff and lovely on-site pool added to the relaxed vibe
Not a big issue, but breakfast starts from 07h00 which is a bit late if you have 08h00 meetings in Stellenbosch or Cape Town CBD.
