Compass House is run by people who really understand 5-star comfort for their clients. The place is perfectly located in bantry Bay, with a beautiful sea view. It is absolutely serene; even the selected music adds to the 'zen' kind of atmosphere. The whole 'house', the staff's politeness and service reminded me of the top boutique hotels in Switzerland or Italy, excellent! Rooms like luxury cabanas, out of a 60s Hollywood movie but with the most modern facilities. Big inviting pool with super view of the ocean. Breakfast: Both selections offered and service immaculate. Ready to stay there again, when in Cape Town. Would recommend it unconditionally, to the connoisseurs of luxury small hotels.
There is no gym at the moment. However, one is being created, as I was informed, and will be ready early next year. Not much else to complain about.

The staff were incredible. So kind, thoughtful, accommodating, and provided exceptional service. The breakfast was also delicious! The views were wonderful, especially when considering the comparable prices for the area, sadly a huge crane blocked the sunset, but that wasn't their fault. If there was another deal, I would happily stay here again for the people, view, and breakfast.
While we loved the view from the room and it was overall nicely appointed, it was long and narrow, which made it hard to sometimes maneuver. And there were some quirks like the lighting / switches, or for instance, the shower head was at chest height, meaning you had to always hold it to wash, and a few other things, but nothing that wouldn't have us come back. We did get a good deal, but if we stayed here at the full rate I may have been a little more disappointed.

The cottage had a wonderful view of the sea from the private terrace.
It was a nice touch to have canapes and drinks every evening.
The staff was very attentive and helpful. The morning and evening managers were super pleasant and welcoming.

I loved everything about it. The location, the view, the staff, and the proximity to many things. The staff made me feel very welcome and I also felt very secure there. Would definitely stay here again if I was back in the area!

Delightful quiet and spacious boutique hotel 5 mins drive from Camps Bay and Seapoint. The room was extremely comfortable, and the pool deck fantastic for a day soaking up the sun and admiring the ocean view. Johan, Gerhard and the staff were superb and couldn't do enough to help. Highly recommended !

This hotel was amazing. The views were great, it’s in a great location (near Clifton beach and Camps Bay) and also near the city, the staff were brilliant… honestly could not fault it. Oh, and the breakfast… wow! Starting every day on the balcony with that breakfast was something special.

Fabulous staff. Especially the manager ( Johann) who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Breakfasts were great and the view over the infinity pool to the ocean was perfect for sun downers.
