Great location - recommend sea point for Cape town - very clean and safe area and tour pick ups and hop in pick ups are very close - this hotel 1/2 block from water - 1 block to many restaurants -

Everything, the rooms, the restaurant, and most especially the staff. It was such a blessing to stay here. The staff were attentive and made me feel like I was at home. They helped me find transportation, as well as places to go and I so enjoyed their helpful hints. Also this place is centrally located right on the promenade just steps from the beach and the beautiful Sea Point Pavilion. I swam every morning and just loved it there.

It’s rare that I book a hotel and almost cry when I leave but the staff at The Hotel Promenade were exceptionally welcoming! They were sweet, attentive and lovely people. I also got to meet the owner Mr. Linnoel who kept a watchful eye on me and the other guests. I felt safe and well cared for! I will be returning!

All of the staff took incredibly good care of us. The hotel manager, Tawanda, all of the staff in the restaurant, the ones that cleaned our space were all kind, caring, and lovely human beings. We were so grateful to have that kind of experience for our first time in the city of Cape Town, South Africa. We’d love to stay there again some day. Thank you so much to everyone from your friends in Washington, DC ?

Very friendly staff and owner! I had made a mistake on my booking and due to the 30+ hours travelling and time difference, booked my stay for the wrong day! I arrived a day before my booking and very late at night. They let me in and prepared a lovely room for me.
The bathroom had a little mold in and near the shower. The workmanship on the bathroom was a bit shoddy so caused the mold occur. Not the venues fault, but should be fixed and addressed at some point.

The location is exceptional but more importantly the staff was very friendly and attentive. The breakfast was excellent in the selection and quality of the food. We had dinner one evening and the dinner was excellent as well.
Nothing but having the possibility to see the ocean would have made this stay even more memorable.

The room and the bistro.. and the STAFF! It is a 30 second walk to the promenade and about a 50-minute walk to the waterfront. The room was large and well stocked with everything. I particularly loved that they had an outlet for all different plugs so I didn’t need my adapter. Netflix on the tv. Super comfy bed and pillows. And the bistro.. the BEST food ever! The shakshuka and eggs benny for breakfast were out of this world. The burger was huge and delish and the tagliata.. yumm! The staff were awesome and helped me so much - they made my stay even better!

Wonderful hotel, though small, but with good facility. Terraces added space to the room, which was very well designed. There is a vibe of energy and enthusiasm. We felt so at home, after a day's activity. At the promenade, we enjoyed the most beautiful sunset.

Showers only have luke warm water. It starts out hot the changes quickly to barely hot water.
