Lovely boutique hotel, in amongst a set of quiet and safe side streets. Reception and rooftop areas are nice.
Didn't have a great experience at breakfast (at the restaurant the Melting Pot): They were understaffed so there was a long wait; They didn't have a record of us being at the hotel and were not helpful in resolving that. The fee that the hotel covers does not cover the breakfast.

Location felt safe. Close to VA Waterfront and cruise ship terminal. Room was nice size with great shower. TV worked well. Host was very helpful. Breakfast was wonderful

Staff were super friendly.
Rooms were extremely small and cramped. No real bathroom as there was hardly any separation between the shower, toilet, sinks and room. Windows were super small and not one of them allowed any views outside. The "rooftop pool" was more like a hot tub without hot water or any jets. With it not being hot, we didn't bother using it.

We loved the location and the breakfast at the nearby cafe. We also enjoyed the exceptional views from the roof top. A special thanks to the staff for accepting a mail order delivery before we arrived and placing it in our room. This was very much appreciated.
Despite confirming the departure times 4(!) times with 2 different staff members, our transfer to the airport arrived 30min early so we had to leave in a rush. There was also a misunderstanding with the arrival transfer despite confirming details beforehand. This area needs improving. A few more hooks or shelves to put clothes on would also be helpful.

It was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. Staff was helpful and friendly. They upgraded our room, gave us vouchers at local restaurant for breakfast, and paid for our Uber to the port. Great location close to Bo Kaap.

Great location to harbor . Clean with all basic amenities. Bathroom newly remodeled. Room would be small for 2 people. Sam was accommodating . The breakfast was superb !!
No privacy for toilet use . Couldn’t figure out how to use hairdryer , tried all receptacles and adapter

It was the second time our group of friends stayed at the Cape Finest Guesthouse. The rooms were comfortable, the staff very friendly and helpful and the breakfast delicious. The property is well situated to all major atrractions
