Two-bed apartment.
The host, Symon, was excellent throughout and did his best to help us and make us welcome. The apartment is not in the luxury category but is comfortable enough for two people. Kitchen facilities, if self-catering, were somewhat limited but fine for everyday living. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms fine. Sun-deck is nice bonus but access to pool and elsewhere in property not easy.
The following is aimed at the owners and should not reflect on Symon as the manager.
Two serious problems exist:
1. That only cash or bank transfer or similar is stated after booking. Difficulties arose with this and we had an agreement in writing twice (through Booking.com) to pay by credit card on arrival only to be told this was not possible and cash was demanded. To have to come up with R14,400 (£660) presented predictable difficulties only resolved by us devoting half a day to the issue.
A credit card charge on booking or card reader on site is an essential tool these days especially travelling in or to South Africa. Must resolve.
2. The only access to this particular space is up four flights of a spiral narrow enclosed staircase. Nothing in the details explains this or warns that this would not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues or very elderly. A serious omission.
The whole apartment, though scrupulously clean, needs investment throughout to decor, furniture and general maintenance.

Pleasant
Was a great location to the Centre of Camps Bay and the beach. Served as a good base while we visited Cape Town. Accessible to the restaurants by walking.
Felt a bit run down, it’s more of a guesthouse at the back of someone’s house rather than the home advertised in the pictures. Could do with better check in process, the host didn’t answer his phone when we tried to contact him. I would suggest a safe lock box instead.

You will need to have WiFi prior to arrival to view your emails from Booking.com with the instructions. Not always possible when travelling from the UK with 11 1/2 hour flight.
The apartment is a great
Location, spacious and host friendly. The place feels safe and secure.
Room and bedding has a moulding musky smells to all the linen’s and towels Shower pressure very poor.
It would be a lovely touch to welcome guests with some milk , normal coffee and sugar and bottled water.

Excellent location 5 minutes from the beach and main restaurant strip. Camps Bay is small! And there are no bottle stores, so be warned. Very good bed, clean, simple, well designed and presented facilities, lovely balcony, perfect for a couple. Highly recommended.

Communication with Symon, the duty manager, was great from the beginning. He was there to greet us and said he was available at any time. The apartment is a gem, very good price for the amazing location, 5min walk from Camps Bay beach, all restaurants and supermarket. We were allowed to safely park our car inside the garage, although the area seemed safe overall with lots of cameras and safety officers around. We had a great stay and would definitely book again, if available, for our next trip to Cape Town.
Everything was perfect, just some small details could be polished but as I said would stay there again. Drainage in the bathroom was slow and also the front door and balcony door were a bit tired and hard to close. But nothing too bad really!

the lcation is perfect, not too close to the beach to listen to noises of the night and a beatiful mountain scenario from the large terrace. the manager is simply fantastic, one of the nicest I met. u can ask and he replies to anything always ina helpful way.
a little noise from the birds off the trees close to the window, but it's part of the game, and maybe missing a device to kill mosquitos in the night, but very few I gotta say. I suggest to forbid to throw in the common garbage bin downstairs the fish remains, definitely too smelly in the entrance/garage.
