Pleasant
Very quiet and not far from sea. Manager was very friendly.
The staff were not friendly. Never great except for this other lady. They didnt clean, didnt change my sheets. There was a kitchen but the cleaner told us we had to clean after our selves. But the manger said otherwise.
The wc pan plus toilet seat was moving and not stable, it was too uncomfortable to use. The air conditioning made a lot of noise, it was uncomfortable to use too. The shower floors are too slippery, no plugs in basins. No shower hair cover but there were showers and no tubs. The space is great but needs technical attention. Its beautiful but not functional.
Theres a leak on the walls but i guess the owner doesnt know, so the guests at lower level experience it.

The only decent part of this stay was the breakfast. The accommodation is shocking and you should avoid this so called "Boutique" hotel at all costs. The only analogy I can give you is that is no better than a backpackers hostel.
The room was shocking. When you book you see a beautiful spacious room with a double bed and what you really get is a 9 square metre room with a single bed jammed up against the wall. By far the worst accommodation I have ever experienced in Cape Town. I was booked for 2 nights - it was so bad I checked out the following morning.

The accommodation was very clean and the person on duty, Francios was exceptional.
The TV only had "YouTube". No DSTV, No Netflix if you wanted to watch you need to login with your own account.

Staff were very friendly and helpful during check in and we were allowed to get our room earlier than check in time- which was really nice.
Located in a great area close to the sea point promenade.
First I wanted to say I booked for my husband and me and my 3mo daughter. On booking.com it was mentioned that kids are welcome, then after making the booking I contacted them to inform them- got a rather unfriendly message back “…
we do have a no children policy, this has been enforced for various reason, yet we will make an exception for this time.” Ok- it’s not like I couldn’t have chosen a different place to stay. If you display that kids are welcome, please don’t make it feel like you are doing us a favor. Same with the parking. During booking it’s mentioned there is parking, then in an email as mentioned below, they tell you there is no parking available. Luckily there were 5 spaces on first come
First serve bases
Yet I got so many confusing emails from the Guesthouse about booking codes and to confirm arrival time and each one asked to confirm via a different email. So confusing really!
Villa it self looks nice but you get the vibe it’s lost its spark. Deck chairs at pool were broken and full ashtrays and dirty cups surrounded the pool area and weren’t cleaned the entire day. Also no towels or suitable cushions anything like on the pictures.
We had a basement room which was dark and also here you could see that it wasn’t well maintained and things were broken. Bed throws and cushions were dirty and ruined the thought of a clean bed for me. Bathroom reminded me of a cheap hostel as so things were broken, for example the toilet paper holder was broken so you didn’t really had a place for it. Now the worst part! It was so so so so noisy. You hear every step anyone takes upstairs super loudly which makes it really hard to sleep in and staff was rooming around the window from 8am which was so so nosy too.
Honesty bar sounded good, but even here it wasn’t stocked up and there was only water and one coke left.
Unfortunately I wouldn’t stay here again as I really feel it used to be a great place but there is nothing reinvested into this place anymore.

I like the location. It's a safe neighbourhood and central to all the places we visited. The breakfast was really good, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming.
The room was too small. I was heartbroken about it because that meant the advert on booking.com was not truthful. The rooms I saw on booking.com were not the ones we were placed in. In the room where we were, we could not even fit. The bathroom was too small, and the room had no space to walk. There was no table to place a laptop—everything was just too small. If I had known, I would have booked a bigger room elsewhere and paid more.

Lovely staff. Room is clean and has everything you need for a few nights stay.
Parking also available.
We were staying in the basement room which meant we could hear people walking around upstairs quite loudly. If you’re a light sleeper I would suggest earplugs.

Security codes and a night service, coffee machine for the whole day
Room and pool area do not correspond to the photos, pool very dirty. Breakfast not very attractive - cheese and sausage were lying around on plates uncooled at almost 30 degrees

Very Poor
The location only
The room was tiny
And in a basement
No bedside table
No place for toiletries in the bathroom
No amenities
No hairdryer
Very noisy room below the reception passage where you can hear everyone walking and pulling luggage over head
The room should not be sold as a room .
