The room was massive & the reception staff were kind.
About everything, it was ridiculously loud, room was dirty when I arrived ( I get it, Vietnam) but worst, the wifi didn't work to the point where you couldn't even watch Netflix. Not everyone is out eating, drinking, massaging all day.

We rented the large suite with balcony as it was the only one available due to Tet. The room was huge, the balcony was great, and the bed was comfortable. Staff was also friendly and kind. There is a rooftop deck where you can see the dragon bridge spitting fire in the distance. Great location near restaurants and close to the beach.
No credit cards accepted is weird for a hotel, and really inconvenient for guests. Laundry service was charged at 70/kg, even tho the sign in the room said 50/kg. We were told prices were higher due to Tet. Reception refused to give us two room keys - highly inconvenient when you are two people that are not always together. No hand towels or wash clothes provided - only 2 bath towels, tho housekeeping did give us 2 more when asked. No soap for the bathroom sink. There was shower gel and shampoo dispensers in the bath tub but they were empty. Light in the bathroom was burnt out.
We aren’t picky travellers, and these were not game changers, but when you charge 1.5 million vnd per night, these things should be taken care of.

Overall 10 out of 10!! You can easily find out budget friendly hotels in the area, but SOCO was absolutely my best hotel in Da Nang beachfront area. Staff speak fluent English, helpful and always been approachable! Staff Hanah, Lisa and another female staff who I enjoyed conversation has been truly amazing!
I only could pay by card for accommodation fee if it was not my misunderstanding, but it was absolutely no problem as there was an ATM and Mini mart. very convenient!

Good location near the beach.
The hotel can use some renovations but it was clean. The front steps (about 15 steps)have no hand rails which is not safe. Several customers had falls with injuries during my stay.

Great location. Huge room.
Sea View room, with a higher price, looks at the sea through windows with an old wrinkly, bubbly, dirty, plastic film. It's not even a clear view. It's blurry. Walls are thin. You can hear your neighbors talking at regular volume. Remodeling construction should start at 8am, not 7am. That one hour makes a huge difference.

The property was actually really good. We didn’t expect too much because of the price, but it exceeded our expectations. It was comfortable, the Wi-Fi was reliable (great if you’re working while traveling), and the bed was very soft and comfortable to sleep in. The bathroom was clean. not perfect, but we were comfortable throughout our week-long stay. Overall, for the price, the property offers much better value than expected.
I don’t understand why some people give hate or bad reviews about this place. It’s perfect—right next to an ATM and shops for your daily needs, and very close to My Khe Beach.
As someone who’s hard to please and who also runs BNB units in my home country, I highly recommend this place.

Wonderful
Huge room with usable balcony. Clean and comfortable. Room 802 has a wonderful view. Staff professional and helpful. I would 100% stay here again and recommend it to anybody looking for a comfortable hotel at a good value.
The rooftop Sun lounge area could use cleaning and improvement. It's a very underutilized space.

Everything about this place is the best, #1. The rooms, the value, the location, & the staff! All of the staff is super-friendly & helpful. And I must give an extra shout-out to Hanah at the front desk for going above-&-beyond to help me with a specific situation that she handled perfectly. Couldn't have done it without her. I love Hotel Soco & couldn't recommend it enough!
