Staff is very nice. They provided me good information about how to get to places (eg: where to buy grosseries, place of the buquebus, mercado central). They also helped me with the keys that presented issues. The region is really great with a good mall just beside.
I would recommed to have more options on the Breakfast, but I could realize that the items are about the same in other hotels. I would take a look on the keys of the hotels. The gym is really small but just beside there is a Smartfit that can be used.

Staff were awesome, from Illana to the front desk staff. Helped me with many things during my stay. Really close to a laundry (don’t get laundry done at hotel, for the price of 1 shirt, I nearly got a whole load done). The location is great, my room overlooked the water. The neighbourhood felt very safe. A shopping centre is only 2 blocks away. Breakfast was good, especially the eggs which you need to ask for. Would stay there again if ever in Montevideo.
Beds are really hard. Had to put pillows under my back to get comfortable. But was fine when doing that. Even on 12th floor got a load of road nice, especially if motorcycles racing along the Rambla late at night.

Great location, good breakfast and staff was also good. Bed was comfortable.
This hotel is unfortunately not the same standard as other Mercure, it needs some renovation. The bathroom was relatively clean but you notice that everything is old and in need of replacement. Cleaning the curtains wouldn't hurt as the room smelled dusty because of it. Lastly the rooms facing the road can be quite noisy due to the motorcycles passing on the main road into the night... I would stay again only if there is some renovation work done - it has potential but somehow got neglected over the years.

Excellent view of Rio de la Plata. Full bidet. One block from punta carretas mall and supermarket. Rambla Ghandi has pedestrian and bike trails along the Rio.
They charge for breakfast which is unusual.

The Staff were absolutely Brilliant. I needed to contact a doctor during my stay and all the staff were very helpful and caring, especially Fabricio. I could not have asked for better service, even got breakfast delivered to my room with a smile.
