The staff were very friendly and helpful and worked hard
It was old and I would say a 2 star and not a 4 star. Carpet’s in the hall were filthy, night table was dirty and you could see stains from cups, AC was weak and set at 16 all night and still not very cool.

We stayed two nights on our way to punta del este and the location is amazing ! Next to the bus terminal and next to a mall with a grocery store on it ! It’s clean and comfortable too

This hotel is in an excellent location if one arrived and departed by bus being just across the road from the bus station. The old town can be reached by bus, but I walked (prob. around 40 min). I hesitated initially regarding staying in this hotel or somewhere more centrally located. But in the hindsight, I am happy that I chose to stay in this hotel. The room was reasonably quiet and I had a good sleep (not sure if staying at a higher floor helped). I also liked that I could use the Australian plug with the power points directly, without an adapter.

The receptionist is great, and very helpful.. Excellent and wonderful location, only the price is very exaggerated, and they are not helpful in the matter of early check-in unfortunately, despite the hotel being empty..

Ideally situated for exploring Montevideo. Close to the bus terminal for travelling further. Staff welcoming and helpful. comfortable beds, but the room was a bit cramped. Good value.

Friendly staff, location near to bus terminal/shopping centre, and about 18 minutes walk to Military Institute of Higher Studies (IMES).
There is no iron and mineral water in the room, no USB port also, but can ask at the front office to borrow a plug adapter.

I was in 10001, the suite up top. Super spacious and the balcony is huge. Huge doors to open up or use the AC if you want. The bus station is literally across the street. The grocery store is the closest entrance to the station (it's also a shopping center). The jacuzzi tub was great. Nice big bed.
I paid $160/night and that felt overpriced for the area and the overall feel of the place. It's probably more like $120-130/night to be fair. It's in a kind of sketch area. However, if you're taking the bus and can't find a cheaper Airbnb I'd opt for this. With the money saved on Uber to the bus station it's then worth it.
