Room and location.
There was a separate elevator three of the rooms on the floor that are a different wing. It's very confusing for a small hotel. Breakfast was fine and nothing of note.

The location is great—good transportation and near the Montevideo shopping center.
There was a problem with the bathroom and it wasn't correctly repaired during our stay.

The After Hotel is a wonderful stay...I traveled w my son. They accommodated us twice because we returned...after we checked out, they permitted us to stay in the Lobby for hours since our flight was in the middle of the night. The food was also excellent. Highly recommend this small Hotel!!

The breakfast was very good, the location and good value. The room was comfortable and clean.
There's no kettle in the room, like I saw in the picture before book it. And I asked for one, they wanted to charge 10 dollars extra.

Location
Staff wasn’t friendly, the front desk service manager (Steven) wasn’t friendly or understanding. They charge extra if you like to take some breakfast items your self outside the breakfast area or to your room, the charge extra for tea other the black tea. The room was very small and the were broken items (towel’s hooks) in the bathroom they took 2 days to fix them. There was a friendly girls at the front desk and she wasn’t Uruguayan, one of the few friendly person as well a few others on the rooms service area.
