For the price, a very nice place to stay. Location is very good -- close to the beach. No food there or complimentary breakfast unless you pay extra for it (off site). The room is, as the name suggests, a suite. Decent size, nice TV, nice bed, view of the beach, bathroom pretty good. Pocitos is a great area to hang because it's not far from the city center or from, say, Carrascos and other Puntas. We found it amazing that the beach area is not very commercial. No one selling/renting umbrellas, chairs, etc. Unlike the U.S. capitalism. No stress. Most of the beaches from Montevideo to Punta del Este has fairly calm water unless there are heavy winds. For those who crave waves and bluer water, you have to further east to Playa Brava....waves crashing!
This place would receive a higher score if they fixed 2 things (related to staff). The persons manning the front desk were virtually of no help when we asked questions about this and that. They were not friendly. We did not like that. The cleaning person did a very poor job of cleaning in general and unless we asked for new towels, we didn't get them. Although not a big deal, the one elevator is tiny.

The property is located in a great neighborhood and on a quiet street. It is one block from the Rambla and beach and the room was spacious. The property is in close proximity to shopping, restaurants and bus access. We had a larger room so it was nice and spacious and the bed was large. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. They engaged very politely on WhatsApp confirming our check-in, room choice, etc.
The floor in the room was dirty and light in the bathroom was not bright enough. While there was a coffee maker there was no coffee provided and none in the hotel.

The only good thing is location
Property is super outdated, dirty, a lot of black mold in the bathroom. Terrible price-quality ratio. Very noisy from the hallway. They also gave us only 1 towel for 3 people in triple room, but they provided 2 more after we asked, but all towels were grey and old.
I was happy that at least I booked only 1 night, and left at 6.m.

It was a large room. Lifts worked well. Reception was nice and staff helpful. Bed sheets clean.
It could have been cleaner. The room was well worn. Towels grey and a big worn. Floor in bedroom poor condition, lots of scuff marks. No facilities for cooking apart from a microwave.

Staff is super friendly and helpful. I left my special neck pillow and they contacted me immediately to let me know they were holding it for me.
Elevator was super tight and the A/C in the room was leaking over an outlet and when it splashed, it hit the person sleeping on the bed by the A/C.

Great location close to Pocitos beach with some local restaurants and a bar nearby - and a supermarket opposite- make this a good choice. Small apartments but well equipped and ours had a dual aspect and a lovely balcony, meaning the sea breeze kept us cool even in the heat of the summer. Staff were friendly and helpful
