Poor
Location based off where I needed to be, travel time was good.
There was a shelter located nearby and on one night a car got broken into and the window to the lobby was broken. The people above us noisy the whole night after 10pm everyday. From my experience with my family, not a hotel I would recommend.

Wonderful
What I liked about this hotel is that it was clean and modern and the staff was friendly. The breakfast spread was a nice touch in the morning.
The thing I did not like as much was that the floor sounded hollow and was kind of noisy when you walked across it, but it was not an uncomfortable noise.

Good
Third time staying there and we enjoy its basic comfort . Only complaint is that for a small woman the shower head is very high up on the wall and theres no wall grab bar or rail to help step into tub . Its a little scary as if anyone was to slip , there is nothing to grab onto . Nice hot water though with good pressure .
As above

Good
New/newly renovated and well-designed rooms, nice retro vibe, and good amenities at a reasonable price
Bit of a rough area surrounding the hotel (only drive in and outdont walk). Markets as pet-friendly but feels more pet-tolerated with the giant list of rules you have to sign on arrival. Some standard (control noise, dont leave alone in room) but some excessive (only allowed on the floor). They should post full policy online somewhere in advance.

Very Good
The property is clean and updated. The staff is excellent and go out of their way to be helpful. It is a great value in what appears to be an overpriced city for accommodation.
Its not in the most desirable part of town- Im not sure I would walk to the corner store at night.

Rooms are updated, clean and comfortable. Love that the floors aren't carpeted. Plenty of room for us and the fridge and Keurig are a bonus. The included breakfast is way better than most out there and we have made The Hotel Y our preferred hotel for the price in Yakima.
If you don't know the area it's not a great neighborhood, BUT it doesn't affect the safety at the hotel or our decision to stay. I don't recommend walking at night, but we drive or take ride share. We will be back again regardless.

Rooms were Clean. Love that the floors are not carpet, low allergy. Hot cookies at check in, nice breakfast. Friendly staff. Well lit parking lot, it felt safe. Hot water for days. Nice rooms with a fridge, keurig, TV places to sit comfortably and store luggage.
Not a deal breaker by any means and would/will stay here again. We were on the ground level and had some noisy upstairs neighbors and we were in front of the stairs, so a lot of foot traffic noise.

Love that is a motel. I like the outside entrances. Updated and very clean. I liked the Keurig. Nice sized refrigerator.
Night desk lady very nice and helpful. That was 9/16/23 8 pm. I liked the looks of the lanai area.
9/17/23 morning, the front desk lady was more interested in speaking to staff. I thought it a bit odd that she greeted 2 gentlemen that entered, but never greeted me. I went back to check out. She was away from the desk, but I could hear her talking in the back room. She is the only reason that I gave a 9 rating.
