Location and price.
DID NOT LIKE checking in with a remote person not on site. BECAUSE OF THIS I WON'T STAY THERE AGAIN. I requested rooms at one end and got the opposite end because parking is awful on that end. He doesn't know the layout because he's not there. There was a language barrier, had to repeat email address multiple times.
We've stayed at this location the last 4 years. I left a great google review in 2024 and then this happened. :(

I've always liked this location being right on Division.
Close to my relatives when I come stay.
I’ve never had an issue checking in before, but this recent experience was particularly inconvenient. I had booked my room weeks in advance and received all the necessary confirmation emails. However, upon arrival, I was surprised to see several visibly tired and upset guests in the lobby.
When it was my turn to check in, I was told that my room wasn’t available—despite having paid for it in advance. I expressed my frustration, as I believed the reservation should have guaranteed a room. The staff member handling check-ins appeared inexperienced and had to make multiple calls to a supervisor before resolving the issue.
After about 30 minutes, he finally confirmed that my room was ready. Although I was relieved to get my key and some rest, I couldn’t help but feel sympathy for the other guests who looked like they were dealing with the same issue—some were even trying to cancel.
This situation was stressful and disappointing, and I hope steps are taken to improve the booking and check-in process

Cleaning lady was really nice and understanding
The foreign kid running the night desk was beyond rude threatening to call the cops on my mom and refused to provide a bath plug so my kids could bathe or let me speak to his manager and our last day there "maintenance" went in our room even tho we said to wait till we got back since we had personal belongs in there (things had been messed with) there was also dry blood on one of the beds felt very unsafe as people kept pulling up to our vehicle overall just gave us the creeps won't take my kids or my mom back there ever!!

Nobody at front desk. We had to chat with a computer screen with an individual in two states over. We arrived early to request a ground level room and we're told they could make no accommodation. Our room was on 2nd floor with no elevator and my having a torn meniscus. The handrails were not set up to use as a rail. The front desk designee finally showed up and was rude, egregious and unaccomodating. The bathroom had no tub grab bar and no non slip mat for tub. This was absolutely the most unpleasant, officials place I've ever stayed. I don't recommend it to anyone.

The location was good, but other than that nothing else was good.
The check in process was a joke, unfortunately it was very hard to understand the people and had to talk to a computer screen and couldn’t get any questions answered, was over charged and got no help with that. The room are very old and in need of proper repair, such as the bathtubs leak and it wouldn’t surprise me if the fell through the floor. No where to sit other than the bed. Door keys stop working after a few times of using it. It is a no smoking facility but the neighbors were smoking weed and drinking into the early morning hours. Got no sleep because of it!! The towels had stains on them, and trying to get more was a task!! DO NOT RECOMMEND STAYING HERE!!!

My card expired every single day. The ac is too loud to sleep with hence it got very cold during the night. Also the water never gets hot. It is barely hot enough for as shower.

They lost my reservation there was miscommunication between them and booking.com and I still have not been reimbursed and it still has not been canceled and there still is the reservation even though they lost it makes perfect sense right?

My son had a soccer game nearby the hotel. We got in late and left very early. Was happy to find an economical option close to the fields that offered a to-go breakfast bag that helped make our early start as easy as possible. Front desk staff was very friendly and offered cookies and popcorn at check-in. Rooms were basic and met our needs.
