This is my go-to place while in Spokane, I come to Spokane about 8-12 times a year and
The Ruby River has never disappointed.
The staff are friendly and helpful and there 24/7 if need.
The location is just off of the downtown and the walk along the Centennial trail too downtown is worth being away from the core.
If you want to drive somewhere I-90 is a quick drive from The Ruby River.
The only thing I don't like is they no longer have coffee in the lobby.

Disappointing
They allow pets, and the rooms were clean. The staff were efficient.
Walls and doors were thin, quiet hours were not enforced- bed sagged in the places where people sleep, mini fridge couldn’t keep a few cheese sticks cold and I double checked the level it was at. I hit my knees on the bathroom door the bathrooms were so tiny. Cold and hot water were backwards in the shower, and one of the lights in the room blinked incessantly. Staff I came into contact with were not friendly. Two busses of high school kids that staid all around me my 2nd night ran up and down the halls until after 11, keeping my dog and I awake.
