walking distance from elvatory to room was too far. 10 minutes walk. Room was very nice. Fitness center was not so good and some of the
Fitness center was not so good and some of the mechines were aged and not working.
Lost my new Starbuck mug in my room. Called many times to lost and found office but nobody answered. left msg nobody responded. talked with front desk employee to have them check for me, no call back so far to tell me whether they found it. I am going to give up.

Disappointing
The staff is kind, and the restaurant and lounge are large and comfortable.
The property is very understaffed and needs cleaning. They are a no-frills establishment (no bellhops or valet parking), which is fine, but would help the overall guest experience. The front desk lines were quite long due to limited staff. Most importantly, the cleanliness of the hotel was severely lacking. I noticed many spills and stains that weren't cleaned from previous guests.

Location was great, right in the middle of everything. Then again, so were a ton of nicer, better hotels.
The WiFi login was clunky. They obviously want to upsell to repeat customers (I can't believe there are any).
Bathroom fixtures were worn. Shower head was so calcified that there was barely any water pressure.
TV was off center from the bed. you had to turn your head waaaaay to the left to look at the very minimal channels
$12/day parking fee! Ample parking. Mostly empty. What do you get for your fee? Long walk to the lobby, no security, no shade. A/C was undersized to the room. Temperature was 74 when we checked in, and barely got to 63 when we checked out, three days later. Lots of deferred maintenance throughout property, worn lobby carpet, loose planter bricks, dangerous walkway cobblestones, etc.

Buffet breakfast was excellent. Breakfast chef Salvador provided an outstanding array of selections; he was very pleasant and polite. Front office staff did a fantastic job, all the time with a terrific attitude and a big smile. I stayed for 5 nights and days and I have no complaints whatsoever ?. I’d recommend the SLC Downtown Sheraton to anyone.
The shower head could have been a little higher - I’m 6’2” and I had to bend over to wash my hair. Apart from that, I really can’t think of anything. Oh, yes - on three occasions I had to get a maintenance crew member in because my tv wouldn’t stream any channels (Netflix, Prime, etc). It was the same issue every time and was always fixed by the friendly crew member after a few minutes.

All of the public areas were very nice.
A 4 star hotel that doesn’t have queen beds? We were tossing and turning on a hard bed that one person couldn’t even fit on. There were spider webs in the room. The tub creaked and sounded like you’re going to fall through to the first floor. Not happy.

They had good pillows
We didn't like having to pay $18/day for parking. That is higher than California hotels charge and it wasn't noted in the listing. They don't have a pool for year round swimming. They don't have have free breakfast.

The hot water went out one morning for a few hours… But they comped us breakfast for 2 and their maintenance department got it working again quickly! The staff was friendly, helpful, & outgoing. They stored all our board bags & suitcases so we could explore the city after checking out on our last day before our flight!
