A very nice building with nice views, and a long walk or short drive to the university. The gym was small but had what I needed, including dumbbells.
The rooms were rather dated, especially the bathroom. Shower was awkward to use.

I liked that our room had a view of a green area, and it felt very nice. We had a pleasant experience with one of your waiters, Mr. Elías Díaz. He was very kind and made us feel truly welcome at the hotel. His friendliness, eloquence, and excellent service attitude made our experience at the hotel different and much more enjoyable.
Our room had two beds, but we didn't understand why they knew we were a couple when we made the reservation and the beds were small. They were comfortable, but we slept tight.

Great location next to the University of Utah, it's why we stayed here. Good restaurant, bar and coffee shop on site. You need a car at this hotel as no amenities are within walking distance outside the hotel.
Beds are a little hard and the hotel is expensive.

Location.
Noise. Next door neighbor was up very late opening and closing door several times. Also, didn’t know the rooms opened up to central atrium when I booked. This is always a very noisy situation as you can hear everything.

Hey Marriot, the 1970's called and wants their hotel back. The entire hotel from lobby to rooms are outdated. Rooms were dirty, there was mold in the showers, A/C Vents looked like they haven't been cleaned since 1970, light fixtures were coming off the wall and I even had to ask for towels because I only was provided two washcloths and a hand towel. I also should be able to have my stay added to my Bonvoy account but since I booked third party, not only is that not allowed, but you also to pay for parking! (Apparently you only get parking validated if you booked directly through them)

The location was perfect for us! I really appreciated that the hotel is pet-friendly. The rooms were easily accessible, and we were conveniently located on the same floor as an ice machine, which came in handy.
We enjoy staying at Marriott properties because the customer service is typically outstanding. At this location, the front desk staff was friendly, but their interactions didn’t feel entirely genuine. Unlike other Marriott hotels where staff members consistently greet guests throughout the property, we didn’t experience that same level of engagement here. The waiter at the restaurant was polite, but didn’t come across as particularly warm or welcoming. Additionally, the elevator and its buttons had noticeable smudge marks, which gave the impression that it wasn’t very clean.

Breakfast was great. Met Elias Diaz, on the staff. He was amazing. He made it such a great experience, his attitude, and how he was with my kids made them so happy. He definitely went above and beyond.
