I always stay there when in Salt Lake. The staff is professional, friendly and efficient.
remodeling was taking place so there workers around and some noise but my stay was still pleasant.

The staff at reception was super rude. Had a terrible experience at the check in and got zero empathy, zero proper explanation about the issue I had. THEY DOUBLE CHARGED ME FOR THE ROOM I ALREADY PAID THRU BOOKING. AND NOW THEY SAY THEY CAN ONLY CHECK ONCE THE ACCOUNTANT GETS BACK FROM HOLIDAY. WOW THANKS FOR BLOCKING MY CREDIT CARD LIMIT DURINH HOLIDAY, WHEN I NEED IT MOST.

It was clear that this location is not that important to Marriot. The lampshades in our room were pretty banged up, the ceiling looked like it has some serious damage, it was Dusty. There was also something in the air that kept kicking off my asthma.

I don’t recommend the breakfast buffet. Not sure ordering off the menu is still an option. There might be a big party happening in the hallway and in a party venue nearby well after their stated 10 pm quiet hours. If so, do not phone, but go directly to the desk.

The room size was good, room was clean over all.
The staff, the operation, the communication between 3d party websites (booking, expedia) and the hotel itself. First they could not see the 2nd reservation I made through booking.com, saying that they do NOT HAVE TO give me a room since I completed the booking on a 3d party website. Their explanation was not satisfying at all, they were lack of emphaty given the fact that it was 11pm and we were there after a 11 hours road trip. No suggestion, no solution, nothing. Yet, they DOUBLE charged me on the credit card I gave for incidentials, for the room that I prepaid.

Location to the hospitals we needed to visit
Our tub was dirty. The bottom had all the dirt partials in it that didn’t drain. Just needed to be wiped out after to pick up the dirt and hair that didn’t go down after washing the tub down.
