It was near the airport and provided shuttle service
We waited over an hour beyond check in time for our room to be ready. The hotel lobby had a strong unpleasant smell. The room did not smell fresh and the hallway smelled like BO. The room was hot and stuffy. We could not adjust the heating/cooling.

Relatively cheap
Run down, staff was not very helpful. Never cleaned our room even when we specifically requested. Our key cards randomly stopped working multiple times with no explanation from the staff when we had to go and get them working again.

Disappointing
The shower was comfortable and the water was warm. The bed was comfortable.
The lamp didn’t work. The coffee maker didn’t work. The room smelled. The chair was worn and cracked. The furniture was beat up. The flooring in the hallways was missing, broken, warped and the sub floor showed through in many places.

We didn’t get breakfast, if they had breakfast I had no idea.
We were locked out of our room every single day. I have a baby so I had to carry my baby to the front desk multiple times a day to get a new room card because ours wouldn’t work. One night coming home from work exhausted our room key wouldn’t work, I went to the desk to get a new one and there was a huge line. I got the room key, had to walk back carrying my child, the new key said our door was unlocked but it wouldn’t open. This made it seem as if it was locked from the inside. I was really scared. , this was actually terrifying to me and didn’t make sense. I have my child and our door is locked”unlocked “ but won’t open!! Anyways, went back to front desk for a new key somehow it worked. This happened every single day for the 5 days we were there.
Other than that issue, everything was okay. I have stayed here before so I knew what to expect with location.

Everything about the site.
I lost a $15,000 pair of hearing aides and when I called to check the location, the person I spoke too said they found nothing before she know what I was looking for. I was disregarded, dismissed and never called back. Watch your items and always double check.

Conveniently located near the airport.
A number of issues with the staff. There was no shampoo in the room, I requested shampoo. They said they would provide it. It was not. I got my own shampoo.
I arrived on a late flight and upon trying to open my room door on my second night of the stay discovered that the code had been changed. Could not get into my room at 1:30 AM. Had to call Staff to get in.
The biggest problem was the“free airport transportation.“ I was initially told that the shuttle ran until 1:15 AM. My flight arrived and by the time I got my bag it was 12:40 AM. I called for the shuttle. I was told I would receive a phone call back which I did. I was then told that the shuttle service ends at 12:45 AM. I called them at 12:40 AM. I was then told that the driver had already taken off of his shift. I was left to take an Uber to the hotel at a cost of $25. The next morning, I spoke with the desk staff and told him that I was dissatisfied about the transportation. Ultimately, they agreed to refund $15 to my credit card for the inconvenience. I agreed. However, the next day, looking at my credit card statement, I discovered that they charged me $15 and then refunded the $15. Net result was they did not give me a $15 credit for the inconvenience. For whatever reason they charged me $15 and the next day refunded $15. When I called the hotel the following day I was told that although I’ve been assured that I would get a $15 credit to my credit card, they changed their mind. They said since I’m not paying anything for the “free“ courtesy shuttle. They wouldn’t honor their commitment of the $15 inconvenience credit. I ultimately got Booking.com involved. The hotel did admit to a Booking.com that they did say I would get a $15 credit. However, they also told Booking.com that they decided not to give it to me after I had left the area. Booking.com handled this situation very well. End result, Booking.com gave me a $15 credit to my wallet. The hotel pinches pennies.

It’s the fact that I didn’t check in or anything and they charged me still. I paid for the travel insurance and they wouldn’t give me a refund. The manager is never there, I was told.

Wonderful
Bed was really comfortable, breakfast was great, staff was nice. It may not be that close to downtown, but I like that it's close to the freeway system and easy to get to the outlying cities in the Wasatch Valley.
The breakfast area and hallways are a little cold, but other than that it was all fine.

The roof leaked in hallways and in rooms. There were buckets everywhere. The floors were dirty. The toilet barely flushed the shower leaked. The place is disgustingly filthy
