Very Poor
April 25, a Saturday, I took my gymnast daughter to the hotel at around 10:30 pm and booked via booking at the lobby. When I tried to check in, they couldn’t take my Apple Pay as the deposit. The staff, one of the two female staffs, said she was going to cancel the reservation for me, and I can contact booking.com for a refund. I confirmed with them that they cancelled the reservation and I would be able to get a refund and left the property. Had I known I couldn’t get a refund. I would have tried other methods to pay the deposit and stayed, other than left the property. I contacted the manager and the manager refused to give refund, as promised by the staff who was working on April 25 evening. Booking.com was very cooperative and tried to help solve the refund issue. The problem is, the staff lied to me, and the booking.com showed the status as “no show”, the fact is I was told they were gonna cancel it for me, and I was gonna get refund, that’s why I left the property. The staff and manager were not professional, they disinformed people.

We did not like our stay at all. The facilities were not even basic and the staff was very unprofessional. There wasn't any room cleaning available and even the pillows were not there in the room.

Location convenient for I-80 access.
They require your credit card (I paid for the room when I made my reservation, online) to keep for "incidental" charges that might come up after you've checked out. In other words, in case you damage anything. Since they would "find" this "damage" after you have left, I can't see anyway to argue the charge if they choose to make one. The side door, nearest my room was broken, and blocked by a heavy trash receptacle from the outside. When I asked about a fitness room, I was told yes, they have one - it is in the hotel next door. The ice machine is conveniently located on the second floor. My room was on the first. The T.V. was ridiculously hard to turn on, lots of tricks to figure out. Finally had to call and get someone to come in. They brought written instructions with them so they could figure it out. There are no places to eat nearby, unless gas station food is all you want. Can not rate the breakfast; I checked out before it started at 6 a.m. Also, you need a parking permit placed in your car overnight. Can not rate the breakfast since I left before 6 a.m.

The facility was clean
No closet. Just pegs to hang clothes but no hangers. The toilet was a top flush, however the counter top extended over the toilet tank and you could barely get your fingers in there to flush

It was clean and safe. When I asked for a second floor room, the front desk person took care of it.
Due to the number of events in SLC at the time, the per night price was much higher than usual.
