The door person and bell person were excellent. Water pressure was great. That's all
My heater did not work so I had to switch rooms. There is a block between the hotel and downtown that is filled w homeless and panhandlers, like a mini San Francisco. Some rooms are in an annex that is about a block from the lobby.

It is elegant & nice rooms & location. Lovely grounds & flowers.
View from our balcony was a huge trash container full to over-flowing. And of course construction going on. But really? Our bed not made up when we returned for the day?! Don't need new towels or new anything. Just make the bed!

Easy location to move around downtown. Not a far walk to places but free train is across the street as well. Staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful.
Hotel out of the tower can use updating and more attention to cleaning. Tissues on floor in room. Dusty vents and hair in bathroom. Shower drained slow. Bathroom door didnt close all the way. Lots of road noise and air system constantly turned on and off

This area of the hotel is outside, and should be labeled a motel. Outward facing rooms. Room temp control did not work. Noise level outside unacceptable.

Room was spotlessly clean and tastefully updated with welcoming and friendly staff. It was a perfect location for our business in Salt Lake and all the staff went out of their way to make sure our needs were accommodated.
The smallest recommendation would be adding a softer pillow to the mix for those of us who only want a small pillow to sleep on.

If I hadn't been 'baited and switched' it would have been fine.
I've stayed there many times. However, I was not aware there is another wing to the hotel, a 'low rent, smoking section', apparently.

This is my favorite place to stay in Salt Lake. The property is conveniently located, feels luxurious, and (although mote expensive than it used to be) still a great value.
$18 a night for parking kinda sucks, but looking at all the homeless around the area makes me feel better knowing their parking lot is somewhat more secure.

When we got to the hotel, they assigned us to the "dungeon" portion of the hotel -- not the tower. Our first room was also not clean -- bed unmade, wet towels on the floor. They quickly reassigned us to a new room, also in the dungeon part of the hotel.
I thought we had booked a tower room.

Rooms were pretty nice, good tv, good water pressure
Extremely loud, the sliding glass doors facing main street traffic was so loud we could not get any sleep at all!!! Honking, ending revving, people yelling, actual bum fights... Is all we heard allllll night long.

The hotel lobby was gorgeous.
The room was like a motel with OLD outdated features. Floor was gross and bed frame was made out of wood with old curving carpentry that felt dirty.
