The layout of the room was far superior to what is usually a King room. There was a wall separating the sitting area from the bedroom which made it feel like you were in a 1 bedroom apartment. The bathroom was large & the shower was huge. There was also a fairly well equipped kitchen, which we did not use but good to know for future stays. We liked this Hyatt House so much that we booked one in another city for our next vacation.
Breakfast could be left out a little later.

The comfort of suit as we unexpectedly got an upgrade to one. The room was very clean and contained all the necessary utensils in the kitchen. The kitchen was complete with a hot plate and the dishwasher which made simple food preparation easier. We liked the shower which was of bigger size and contained a gram rail. Also a rubber mat was provided for extra safety.
The entry door was massive and hard to open with one hand. The door closer was extremaly strong and we were unable to keep the door open during luggage transfer from the corridor. Doing so required 2 people with one keeping the door open and other moving in suitcases inside or out. I would suggest installing a blocakde for such events.

The hotel receptionist mistakenly charged us twice for parking. When we brought it to her attention, she was clearly flustered and unable to provide any explanation, telling us that the receptionist on duty the next day would be able to help. The following day, the other receptionist claimed that the extra charge was actually a deposit that would be refunded immediately. Coincidentally, the amount in question was exactly $24 — the cost of parking — making her explanation quite obviously untrue.

The rooms were nice and updated.
We requested joint rooms for our family of 6. The receptionist thought she gave us joint rooms, but they were not. Unfortunately the hotel was booked so we couldn’t do anything to change the rooms.

Spacious, comfortable room. Great facilities in the kitchenet area. Nice feature to have the TV able to swivel to face either the bedroom area or the sitting area. Plenty of storage - hanging space and drawers. Gym was good, breakfast simple but tasty. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Really convenient for most of the city around the convention centre and a 2 minute walk from one of the transport system stops (Green Line?).
Some of the furnishings were perhaps slightly on the dated side, but not really an issue for me. Not in a particularly 'scenic' part of town, but an easy walk to areas that had more interest.
