Disappointing
Clean, breakfast provided, female evening staff at front desk was super kind
Pool was closed and didn’t look like it had been open recently or would open again anytime soon, we specifically chose this hotel because of the pool. The pool was half filled with water (seems pretty unsafe with the door to the room unlocked) and there were washing machines and dryers being stored in there. My 4 yr old spilled a cup of milk at breakfast. Your males staff stood by, leaning in the front desk, just staring at me and watched me clean it all up with napkins and then when I was finished walked over and said they’d have housekeeping take it from there. Then they sent a young woman in with a mop. I didn’t think such misogyny still existed in America today. Disgusting behavior.

The bed was comfy. The room was nice.
The breakfast options were horrible. When you turned on one tv the other tv would turn on. The water pressure in the shower was really weak. They only had two towels. The front desk agent did not give me any information about when breakfast or check out was. He just checked me in and gave me the room keys with the room number.

The breakfast was lacking. We got there at 9:15, breakfast until 10, and almost everything was gone. I've stayed at a lot of places that ensure that they keep it stocked until the end of breakfast so that all guests who want to enjoy it can. The toasters did not toast our bagels at all after putting them in repeatedly for nearly 6 minutes. But I guess you shouldn't complain about free, right?

Being charged for full price for not getting the full hampton experience was disappointing.

Soft beds, lots of lighting, lady behind the counter at check in was nice.
I wasn’t aware it was under renovation ( there was nothing on the site to say it was under renovation and the pool etc was closed down, breakfast in a bag) when I tried to cancel after being notified after I paid already that the pool was closed, the reason I picked this hotel, even after paying the trip insurance I was told I could no longer cancel. We found an earwig in our room on the wall, that had yellow drips coming off it, the fire sprinkler was partially hanging and there was dry wall missing around it. I don’t like that they use full size bottles of toiletries on the wall and have gunk built up on them. People who were doing renovations were on their phones when we checked in leaning up against counters it was hot in the hall ways and elevator. Definitely not worth the price I paid I’m extremely disappointed. I took pictures of said things as well. They should have just closed down during renovations. (I have a video of the bug but it will only let me upload photos)
