Dear Radisson Group, Country Inn and Suites, West Valley, UT.., today (2 May 2025) reservation number: 4721028005, when I checked to the mentioned hotel, I was assigned room 305. When we walked in the room, there was a large wet spot that had a strong smell of vomit on the carpet. There was even evidence of vomit remnants on the floor. We had been assigned a room that had not been disinfected, was non hygienic and was not in condition to receive guests. The whole room had a terrible smell. I was charged $50 to change rooms, since there were no rooms like the one, we reserved. It was their solution to charge us $50 and assign us different room which seemed to us to be unfair arbitrary. regardless of room availability. I feel this treatment was unprofessional, especially because the room 305 most likely could be the source of disease contamination. I request a refund of the $50. The above action by management was not professional. I am happy to discuss further with management. My contact information is below. I have written emails to your hotel; the Radisson Group and I will write reviews indicating the unprofessional attitude of the Country Inn and Suites Management group until this issue is resolved. We stayed for 2 day, 2 nights, they didnt gave us enough towels, they didnt refill the toilet paper, and when I check in the lady at the front was not friendly, I dont know if she was tired, but is her job. We are visiting, she should be happy, the other staff at the front were ok. And the keys didnt work, everytime I had to go at the front desk asking for a "recharge"

Breakfast was nothing special. Bacon undercooked rubbery. They do not tell you about the extra 100 bucks they hold for five days.
It was a bed that was about it.

Staff were so nice and helpful. I have to come to SLC for med appts and have not had one great experience in the places ive stayed until I stsyed at Country Inn by Raddison. How refreshing to be treated with some kindness and respect by staff.
The only thing I would change is the quality of the bed mattress. It felt like an older mattress and wasnt comfortsble.

Not much. The lobby looked nice, and the shower temperature and pressure was good.
The smell in my room was pretty pungent (obviously used to be a smoking room), there were stains everywhere, including on the walls. There was paint peeling off the bathroom wall, and the drains needed a good scrubbing. The furniture and atmosphere were just dingey. And I was confused why there wasn't a rolling desk chair at the desk, but a set of not-that-comfy kitchen chairs there instead. Also very noisy! Inside and out. Not worth the money at all.

Our remote didn't work and it never was fixed. Luckily we had another remote for the other room that worked. Room was not especially clean and had a stain on the carpet by the frig. Beds weren't that comfortable but not horrible.

The room was spacious, everything was very clean and the breakfast was excellent as far as free hotel breakfasts go. Everything was very comfortable, the beds were nice and everything in the room worked well and was as expected.
The noise cancellation left something to be desired. I could definitely hear truck and motorcycle engines clearly in the parking lot and I could hear my neighbor listening to music and singing in the mornings. My only other gripe was that I seemed to have to get my key reactivated every day after checkout time despite being booked for three nights.
