I liked that I only had to stay one night
I didn't like that the office manager pretended he didn't know what decaffeinated coffee was and I didn't like that the office manager pretended that he didn't speak English, I didn't like that the inside of the front door was covered with black mold . I didn't like that there was no walk way to the room and that I had to step over unkept shrubbery to access the door.

Decent size room, the pool looked inviting right opposite us but wasn't available to use, I booked the hotel wanting to swim, no where on the website did it state that it was open seasonally, I missed swimming by a week grrrr, it was hot in SLC
The location was not good, it's next door to public housing facility, homeless people loitering along the footpath and we attempted to cross the road but noticed more grotty people ther too,
Not the best choice if you are planning going into the city, stay closer in cbd, so you don't have to walk or catch bus or train,

Check in was easy.
After a 14-and-a-half-hour drive to this hotel my family and I checked in and were given the key to a room that was not prepped for our arrival. As we drove up to our room that had access from the parking lot I could see that the door to our room was damaged with dings and dents as if someone had tried to break in. upon entering the room it was apparent that it had not been prepped for our arrival (no bedding on the beds). I went back to the desk to ask for a refund and return the Keys. The Clerk seemed surprised and let me know there was no problem he would and seemingly took care of the refund. He said all set, no problem. To my surprise my card had been charged for the agreed upon price of the room, plus charges for the two pets I had brought with me. Very disappointing since my family and I did not even stay there.

I saw many homeless people staring at you while walking towards the hotel from the nearest rail station. There is no curtain in my bathroom for showering.

Facility was clean and well cared for. Desk people were polite. Had to extend stay due to pending surgery and they were very accommodating. Quite location, it was also gated.
I wasn't able to get 2 handicap rooms. They were able to get me 1.

Location was close to the downtown, so that was good. Staff was friendly.
Room smelled like cigarettes, had yellow running stains on the bathroom walls. Breakfast was low quality, kind of expected, but they had few options so that’s good. Staff gave us the wrong WiFi password. Kind of noisy place too. Not staying there again.
