That it was gated.
No juice at either morning breakfast. No milk on Fri. for the abundance of dry cereal and oatmeal. 1/3 of heated breakfast items not covered. Small pieces of litter along both bed frames. Literally put 3 towel sets in a 2 queen bed room. The 1 inch border of dust on the floor at the wall.The front door striker plate was about a 1/4 inch off. ( didn't exactly shut all the way even when locked. The hvac fan would never turn off, had to unplug for it to end. One more thing, just reminded of the possibility of poop actually being on the wall on both walls around toilet.

The pillows were fluffy.
The non-smoking room smelled like cigarettes, musty carpet and air freshener. The arms of the office chair were sticky, and in plain sight, on the carpet between the desk and TV stand was a prior customer's toothbrush and pieces of candy; it obviously wasn't clean. The TV was old, poor quality, with lines across the screen distorting the image. When I went to grab free breakfast for my children who were still sleeping, the manager told me I couldn't take the food to them.

Always liked this place we stay here every time we go to salt lake. The price is perfect. Better than a motel 6 or super 8 and others that are the same price. Trust me we have stayed at a lot of other hotels that are around the same price in salt lake and they are bad compared to this hotel. The staff is also very friendly. Plus I love the gated parking.
I would only say the tv signal and channels. But it works ok. I’m sure they will be better soon

The staff are very polite. The parking lot is gated which feels a bit secure.
Walls are paper thin. The room next to me would rotate having guests in which the first night they woke me up at all hours. The walls and floors were shaking—eventually I had to bang on the wall which stopped them briefly.

Stayed here to be near Kilby Block Party festival. Great location
Only complaint was room smelled to harsh of chemicals/cleaner but I cracked the window and let it air out while I was gone at the fest. On 1st floor next to entrance so a little bit noisy on ground floor and above person staying in that room.

The staff were nice.
The room was dumpy. The heater/air conditioner had broken buttons and was not fitted to the wall properly. The front door was filthy and there were large air gaps to the outside.
