The hotel is OK, it is cheap and has a gate. The rooms were OK. The breakfast was really good.
The hotel is in a sketchy area of SLC, it is a half a mile from the nearest Trax station walking and the nearest bus stop is two blocks away, but you can't get to that bus station from Trax. The motel is next to a housing project that has some troubling residents. A bunch of people were in front of the property high on drugs which presents a safety concern. Not close to any markets, there is a gas station a block and half a way with a mini mart. Don't go out at night unless you have a car.

The breakfast offerings were way better than I expected. The variety should’ve met anyone’s desires. Also, there was very little traffic, so it was easy to get out of the motel.

Disappointing
Main course of the Breakfast was completely empty after 8.30am and just coffee and soda were available.....The room was clean and tolietaries were good enough but the bed spread was used the same from previous stay.
The bed was not clean and dirty....so disappointing. I requested to change my room after five minutes of checking the room, the staff was kind enough to provide another room. thanks.
The management should keep watching those house keepers or the mangement is not providing enought bed spreads to the house keepers to change for every stay. Something shold be taken seriously for what we pay and pleasant stay.

I love this hotel. I stay here every time I go to Salt Lake City. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. I asked for extra towels and they had no problem giving them to me. The man that helped me in the front was extremely nice. He helped me with a small issue I had and I thank you for your help! The best hotel for the money. Other hotels in the area for the same price are not as good as this hotel.

Location and good breakfast
TV didn't work, bathroom door was broken and didn't close all the way, bed wasn't made one day for some reason, noisy complex, I had to call security on the neighboring room.

The location is a trash-strewn hellhole that is no where near downtown or the Convention Center. The front desk lied to us on numerous occasions about the location, whether the second reservation that was made was cancelled (it was), and whether we would receive a refund for the stay that did not take place. The only thing that was worse that this place was booking.com's customer service, which claims to be US-based but is actually in the Phillipines, including the escalation staff

Small dirty rooms. 2 beds jammed in a tiny room and jammed up against the ac on one side and the wall on the other. Small dirty bathroom. Foe a room foe 4 there was no where to put luggage or sit.

Bed was comfortable and room was adequately sized. Access to motel rooms required entrance through a gate. Daily housekeeping which changed towels and provided amenities. Hot breakfast included scrambled eggs, sausage links, and breakfast potatoes as well as cold breakfast items, such as dry cereal, oatmeal, and pastries. This accommodation met my criteria for a budget motel of clean, safe, and comfortable.
Transient population in the area. Lighting in the room could be improved. Motel management requested that breakfast be enjoyed in the dining room and discouraged patrons from bringing items back to their motel room. Refrigerator in the room needed to be defrosted and did not cool items very well.

It was clean and check in was easy.
The website listed different hours for breakfast than what was accurate, so we ended up missing it because the breakfast room was closed 30 minutes before I thought it would be. There was also a plastic bag over the smoke alarm, which to me indicated that either someone has been smoking in the room or it was malfunctioning in some way, which is concerning.

The staff was really helpful and kind when we checked in. We had just stayed a few days before on our way to our destination. We had my cat and it was easy to add on the pet fee. They just asked whay kind of pet I had and how many. The pet fee is cheap compared to other places it was only $20 and they didnt charge me more for having a cat.
The parking is really close to the first floor rooms, so it was a bit loud by our room.
We moved the side table because I was concerned my cat would go behind the bed, and when I did, there was a dead bug - I could not tell if it was a cockroach. Room 121.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. Parking is secured, and there are plenty of spaces even if it's no vacancy. The breakfast goes until 9 am, and there is plenty of food which is nice as most hotels end earlier or run of food if you dont get there when they open from my experience.
We thought our hot water wasn't working, so we called the front desk and let them know what was going on and told them we were in a rush. They sent someone within 2 minutes, and it ended up being we didn't know how to use the bath faucet correctly. The lady was very kind and showed us.
The bathroom smelled like feet, but it went away after we ran some hot water.
The eggs were a bit rubbery and dry.

The room was very nice and comfortable. The front desk staff were friendly. Maids, not so much. I would definitely stay again.
The outside looks ghetto, but still nice. The maids were extremely rude and would not try to help at all.

Staff was nice.
The hot floors, the hot room, the meth heads littered everywhere, the other "occupants" smoking cigarettes outside people's doors, the bathroom in 210 is completely gross. The blood spot in the bathtub? The gross gunk behind the bathroom door in the bottom right. poor TV quality, 480i? What year is it. The bathroom flooring not finished.
