Poor
The desk worker was very nice and helpful. The view was beautiful.
Our room was on the second floor, no elevator and my husband is 74. The clerk was so helpful in getting it up there. A guy was walking around the hotel begging for money and in the parking lot spouting nonsense and making us very nervous.

Disappointing
The receptionist who greeted us was nice, but the receptionist who checked us out was a bit sour. The breakfast selection was good.
The room smelled musty when we entered and we had to open the window to air it out. The a/c unit was dusty and blew dust into the room. The bed was comfortable but the sheets were rough and scratchy.
It was not a good value for the money compared to other hotels we stayed at.

Pleasant
The breakfast was ok. The price was inexpensive for the less than 8 hrs I stayed there.
The bed/metal frame was quite loud every time I moved or got up. I had troubles getting the AC set/started; that could just be my own troubles & it was quite late, after midnight.

Never staying at Super 8! Charging $20 extra per dog is gouging. The coffee was terrible. Noise from the hallways is excessive. I’m done with this hotel chain.

Low rate and close to where we wanted to be. The king bed was comfortable. Ogden is a cute town with some nice places to eat.
The location was in an industrial area and behind a gas station. The whole place smelled a bit musty and was run down. The room was a bit small with the bed practically up against the wall, so I had to crawl into bed from the bottom. No USB power ports.
