We came for the Waco Half Ironman. Hotel was super quiet. Walk in shower was fabulous. It was dog friendly so we brought our pup (fees did apply). And we could easily walk to the event.

Walking distance to convention center and several good restaurant. Pool area was nice with really hot hot tub.
Drinks at bar were rather pricey for the size. Good, but expensive. Ice machine on our floor did not work.
