The staff is so friendly. Great place, as soon as you enter the building is new from inside, from outside it may look a bit older design for the building. The staff is informative and marked my reservation as cancelled since their hot water heater was undergoing maintenance and the hotel temporarily did not have hot water for the day or two. So kind of them to honor free cancellation due to my preference.

Great staff, friendly and helpful, they did inform in advance about the hot water issue and did not charge me for the reservation, since I did not stay. Great service, the staff mentioned that their water heater will be fixed within 2 days since it was weekend, the plumbing company was not available.

As for my experience the only think that was good about the property was the location for visiting family during Christmas.
It took me a month to write this review because my trip that was booked to spend time with family for Christmas, turned in to being on pins and needles. My whole experience from the first day when I arrived to the property started wrong. I had canceled an extra room I had booked and knew I had to pay for the first night cancellation. The person who stated he was the property manager had charged my credit card on file through booking the day before I arrived for two rooms and put a note in stating I could not cancel. I told the front desk clerk that I had a cancellation email from booking and was not to be charged full amount for the room I cancelled. The desk clerk called the owner and stated they would fix it and I just had one room. I read previous reviews stating they were going through renovation’s but did not see anything being worked on during the stay. The exercise room was closed during the stay, I assume for renovation. I was okay until I got into the hotel room we were placed in. There was a hole in the wall, there was not a top lock on the hotel door, ants was in the bathroom, and the hot water did not work. I went down stairs to the clerk since the phone in the room was not hooked up, regarding the water and she stated you have to run it for a little while to get it hot. It was from the renovations as to why it takes a while for the water to get hot. I timed the amount of time I had to run the water and it was almost 20 to 30 minutes. On Christmas Eve , I was on the phone with booking. com to figure out why my credit card was charged full price for the room I cancelled, and had to provide proof when I was not supposed to be charged full price. I tried talking to the property manager but was unsuccessful. I just decided to have booking to deal with the issues. During Christmas time, it is supposed to be a joyous and happy time, but I did not feel that. Worried my credit card was going to be charged for unwarranted things. I was right to have that worry.
