Disappointing
The staff was friendly and the lobby is beautiful. Loved the coi fish.
We stay at Hyatt a lot and based on past experiences, this property did not meet the same standards. The room wasn’t clean and needs renovation. Dust was stuck on the popcorn ceiling and in all the air vents. The base boards were all cuffed and looked dusty. The room felt damp. The blow dryer was covered in sticky residue. I had to buy one to use. The pillows smelled old and musty like someone with unwashed hair slept on them. I asked for new ones. They also smelled old and musty. I couldn’t use them it was bothering me so much. I tried pulling the sheets over them and it didn’t help.
Suggestions:
all the pillows need to be replaced
more lighting added to the rooms
New carpets, The carpet was old and worn and looked unclean.
Better more thorough dusting and get rid of popcorn ceiling as I’m sure that’s difficult to clean.

I liked the location, ambiance and hotel room.
I did like the front desk - they were horrible, neer answered the phone, understaffed and not trained. I did not like the bed, it was very hard and uncomfortable.
