Quirky building (atypical of Houston) and a nice change from the usual hotel chains. Great to have enough food choice to eat when arriving late at night

The breakfast and snacks available are wonderful! The rooms are beautiful and Nick was great, and made us feel like family. There is honestly no other place I'd stay to enjoy the area. Its so close to so many great locations and easy to book.

The house is beautiful and they keep the kitchen stocked with snacks and beverages and even some light meals for guests to access at any time, which is really unexpected and nice.
When I arrived a little early of when my room would be ready there was no one there. I expected to be able to sit in the lobby and wait and charge my phone but I arrived to a house with a locked gate and had to leave for a while and come back. Also charging per use of the hot tub is odd and the main reason I booked this place was to have access to the hot tub before and after my race so that was disappointing.

There was no hot breakfast and very limited choices, one of the primary reasons I picked this hotel was because it said it had a good breakfast.

The breakfast could’ve been much better but I was glad they at least have something to munch on. The location was private and very nice.
The stairs in the bedroom, other than that it was pretty nice. Our stay was very quiet and private which I loved.

A lot of privacy and peace and quiet, just what I was looking for. The room was clean and spacious. The swimming pool is in the shade and quite cold, but I loved the sun terrace where I spend most of my relaxing weekend ;-). Private parking.q

Disappointing
The overall decor was nice and I like how each individual room was themed .
Well I immediately was displeased with the location . It was near the highway which was extremely loud. I also recognize this place located in the urban area which had a lot of rough areas near by. Beyond that my group and I wasn’t greeted with a warm welcome as we saw the property manage give other people . The worse part was being awakened by the sound of some squeaky & squealing and later find rat droppings in our room.

Room was well equipped, including walk-in closet, bath with great shower, coffee maker, bathrobe, slippers, and chairs. Location is not in walking distance of amenities and attractions, but is easily and quickly accessible by car.
Everything was fine, would visit property again.

The house was wonderfully appointed. If we travel to Houston again, we would make sure to stay a day or two to explore and enjoy just the house!
Not sure if we were late for the breakfast. There were a few individually wrapped biscuits (I think three total), that we shared with our coffee/tea. Also, the gfi plug in the bathroom would not reset. The manager/owner was informed upon our departure and he said he would look into it.
