Very unique hotel with interesting artwork and fixtures. The shower is perfect, very clean and built for two. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping.

Eclectic decor, clean spacious room.
We asked for a specific kind of room and that room was unavailable when we arrived at 5 pm, which is strange. We were not upgraded as a result but it was still fine. The hotel is next to Katy Freeway, so be prepared for constant highway noise.

Front desk staff was friendly. Valet was also friendly. Our favorite time during our hotel stay was when we encountered Krubel at the restaurant. He took care of our entire family (20 of us), he was professional, friendly, and provided exceptional service. He truly made experience positive and memorable. Mary was also amazing, kind, helpful and very professional as well.
Housekeeping service was extremely poor. Our room was never serviced the entire time we stayed there. There was one time I turned housekeeping away because we were getting ready in our room for a wedding. We also called for towels, waited hours and nothing. We had to call 4 times for towels before someone brought it to us. We had also called for a roll-a-way bed, and that took several hours as well.

I enjoyed the coffee bar while getting ready early in the morning. We only ate one meal (lunch), and it was good. The grounds were beautiful. Staff was friendly and helpful. Shuttle service was a nice option for close trips. There is a mall nearby, which is walkable.
Food beverage prices were a bit high.
