The location was close to the college that I was visiting. I liked the breakfast bar and that I was able to make my own waffles. I also liked that I had access and was able to use the exercise room.
I don't like that my room was all the way around the corner, around another hall and around another corner. I think that was a little scary for me, but my husband was with me, so it wasn't too bad.

Paid for my stay for a week in advance. When I arrived the door was closed and locked. According to sign on the window they would close at 9pm. The time was only 8:30. Finally I got someone's attention and they let me in. Had to run a credit card for incidentals, which is not unusual. My card was declined. Gave him another card and it was declined. I called the CC companies because maybe they thought it was fraud. Nope, nothing on their end even showed up. The cards are good. The person was entering the numbers by hand. No swipe. CC companies said this was an issue. Didn't have a place for the 3 digit security code. I even offered to leave cash for incidentals but no, that would not work So basically I was turned away and could not stay there even though it was paid in advance Went down the street to another hotel and fortunately they had vacancy. Paid with the card that was declined by the other hotel. I want a refund from that Comfort Inn or booing.com

For this being a smaller and older property, the upkeep has been well. Hotel is maintained and kept clean. Loved how there was a hot breakfast daily and the server kept all items stocked.
The only complaint I would have, if any, would be for other meat options besides pork for the breakfast. There are other alternatives for breakfast meat like chicken/turkey sausage and bacon…allow two meat choices and even pancakes along with the waffle.
