I don't sleep well without a really good pillow. I've stayed twice now and both times I slept really well. The bed and pillows were awesome. The room was beautiful with a nice view of the street below. The staff was super accommodating. Will definitely stay again in the future.

Their website says they have a full service restaurant but they do not. They only have breakfast, no food at night. That would have been really good to know ahead of time since I had planned to meet someone to eat there.

Charming, beautiful historic hotel in downtown Fort Worth was just what I expected to be. It was really nice. My room was beautiful. Enjoyed drinks in the bar and the bartender Iris is really wonderful. The clerks at the front desk were so friendly, helpful and nice.
However, the breakfast the morning of our departure was pretty awful. See below.
The breakfast the following morning of my stay was just awful. The coffee wasn't very good, and the food was really bad. The omlette was not even a little bit tasty so I didn't eat much of it. The potatoes were bland. There was nothing good about it and the price was ridiculous. It should have been a wonderful breakfast for the price, but it was anything but.
However, the hostess was very nice.

The location was great and the room well appointed.
When I booked, I asked the hotel f we could get into our room early due to coming off a long international flight, and was told it would be accommodated if possible, depend on room availability - fair enough. However, when we arrived after being in transit for 16 hours, it was pouring rain, so we went to the hotel about 2.5 hours before the 3pm checkin time and were not given any assistance. The first hotel staff was sympathetic, but her supervisor said it would be an additional $75US to check in early (over $115AU on top of $353!!). She suggested we come back at 2.30, which we did, and eventually at 2.45 she said we could go to the room. In addition, booking included breakfast. However, the hotel staff said they no longer did the free breakfast, but we could pay for the breakfast in their restaurant. When I complained that it was false advertising, they put the blame on Booking.com and didn't offer anything to compensate us. When checking out the next morning, the person in front of me complained of exactly the same issue and said they should be offered a refund of some amount. Even though it was a nice hotel, the staff were not at all equipped to deal with the issues in a customer friendly way

Room size, bed and pillows, very dark in morning, A/C worked good
Bathtub / hot tub nozzles were broke pretty much forced to valet park unless you want to walk multiple blocks to parking garage. Valet was overpriced and took a long time to get our car.
View out your window is not good because they are very dirty.
