Value for money. Shuttle to Billy Bob’s was handy. Breakfast included.
A bar and restaurant would have been handy. There was only 2 Mexican restaurant in walking distance.

The room was great! Very clean and spacious! Breakfast was delicious too.
When we arrived and I went in to check in the lady at the desk asked for my card. She had a ancient that I couldn't understand very well. So I apologized for not understanding and ask her to repeat herself. I gave it to her once I understood her correctly and then she handed it to me and said "I need a different card" I asked why and she told me "because you don't have no money". I explained to her that that isn't correct and I politely asked her to try it again and she then told me that she won't because I dont have any money. I asked her if she could try to just try to take the money from bookings.com since it was on my account. She then explained that the card went through for my room. I was confused at this point. When I asked her why she needed to run my card again if it went through for my room already she then explained that they charge a $75 dollar refundable deposit. I told her I wasn't aware of a deposit and she then told me "yes, you have to pay it and you don't have no money."
I told her to stop saying that because its rude and told her she is absolutely wrong about my not having any money. She then just asked me if I can afford the $75 or not. So I called my husband to come inside to pay with his other bank card. He stayed in the car because our son was asleep from the long drive. He had to park and wake our son up to come in. When he came in and asked what was wrong she told him that she explained to me that my card was declined. I said no ma'am thats not what you said several times. You said I don't have no money. She acted all sweet as my husband handed her a different card for the deposit that we didn't know about. Come to find out she ran my card as credit for the rooms and when she tried to run it a second time on credit for the deposit my bank wouldn't allow that. She could have ran it as debit and it would have all been ok.

Breakfast was great and plentiful. Rooms were comfortable. Shuttle a good idea. Cat was cute and loved the rocking chairs outside. Convenient to Stockyards
Bathroom was not very clean. Floor in lobby was filthy when we arrived and staff were not busy but didn't clean it up. Found the staff very hard to understand and cleaners did not speak English at all
