Classes, iconic luxury hotel in great downtown location.

I was expecting more from the decor of the Rodeo Bar.

Loved the history, interior design was beautiful and felt like a boutique hotel even though it was a large building. Loved the pool, and all the sitting areas to relax, loved the coffee shop is open until 10pm!
Bar was stunning and French room beautiful and plan to have tea next time.

Every time we called up our car from valet it took over 30 minutes and they always brought up another car with same last name but wasn’t ours. Took 3 people to finally recover our car each time which was frustrating when we had appointments to be at. Especially for $60 a night! Area surrounding is ok , typical down town but dodgy and wouldn’t walk to far at night in the area a few streets over. Wish for more stores and cafes in walking distance. Later room service would be nice

The Adolphus is a beautiful hotel; I have stayed many times and have always loved the history and the attention to detail. This was such a disappointing and different experience. I don’t think I will ever go back.

The Adolphus management booked so many events the staff could not keep up. They were trying to maintain service for a wedding- perhaps two, a shower, and another event. We could not get into our room because it was not ready and were unable to make our dinner reservation. As we sat in the bar area, very young wedding guests filled the area with nowhere else to go and were loud and out of control. When we discussed the situation with a manager, he responded, “Yes, this is a busy hotel.”
Just incredibly disappointing to see this property with so much to offer become what amounts to a fraternity house because the management doesn’t have better judgment.

Beautiful inside. The hotel had a charming, old-meets-new feel—boutique in style but with modern updates. The room was huge, and the two-king bed option was fantastic. Loved the variety of restaurants and bars, from live music at the Rodeo Bar to the more upscale lobby lounge.

Elevators were on the smaller side, though they added to the hotel’s character.

Fabulous stay! My friend and I stayed two days and were blown away with this hotel and everyone who works there! We experienced excellent customer service by every single person we encountered, but specifically wish to shout out the valets Roy and PJ, and the front desk attendant Ethan! Also, there was a manager in a very handsome blazer every day who was wonderful too, but we didn't catch his name. The hotel is really beautiful and our room was large with two KING beds! They had a Krups coffee maker in the room for early morning coffee which I always appreciate. Super cool bar and bar area in the upper lobby as well as a great pool bar by the pool. Casual restaurant as well as a fancy French one on site. Had a 50 min massage by Monica at the spa and it was wonderful. I will book this hotel again for anything downtown Dallas. Great weekend stay!

Everything at the Adolphus was exceptional. They pay attention to every little detail from the moment you step through the front door. Every member of the staff was wonderful, I haven't experienced service like this in a long time, if ever. Front desk staff helped guide us on sights to see. There is a house car that will drop you off places within a 3 mile radius. We ate at one of the restaurants for breakfast, the food and service were fantastic. I felt the price was more than reasonable for the experience, I would have paid more. Best hotel experience for me. 10/10 highly recommend.

I can't complain about one thing during our stay.

The hotel itself is lovely. It has a great feel of an "old fashioned" hotel - but in a very good way, with plenty of character. The French Room restaurant, where we had afternoon tea, is very good.

Our room had only a view onto the the wall of the next building which was disappointing.
