The hotel was very nice, rooms were very comfortable and clean.
That evening I stayed they had a pool party, which had quite a few people there, and was just not for the people staying there. The rooftop pool was one of the main reason I booked my stay there, but I was not able to enjoy that part of my stay.

Very Good
Great location - easy to get into the downtown area. We enjoyed both the lower level restaurant and the upstairs bar during our stay. Our server for breakfast was GREAT and provided us with several local tips for sightseeing and making the most of our day in Dallas.
Even though we were the only ones for breakfast, it took quite a while for the food to come out, and we were served with pre-packaged jelly, butter and syrup as if we had ordered room service.
Unfortunately, the fire alarm went off at 6 am. Many hotel guests made their way down the stairs and outside, however, hotel staff did not communicate with us outside. When we saw the firefighters leave many of us went into the lobby and asked if we could head up to our rooms. A gentleman said no and the person behind the front desk said yes, then shrugged. I am hopeful that the alarm (due to the elevators) was a reminder to hotel staff to have systems and processes in place, including providing hotel guests with important information.

Poor
Smelled bad like a cats litter box when you walk into the lobby. The room wouldn’t cool down all night. Sound echos throughout the whole place. You can hear your neighbors talking through walls. The rug by the bed had what looked like blood spot stains.

Rooms and lobby are great! Super clean and really comfortable.
The weekend rooftop pool parties are problematic. Your guests (who are likely not staying at the hotel) do drugs, smoke weed, and vape IN the common areas of the hotel as well as in the designated non-smoking areas right outside the door in plain view of both the valet and the security guy. I witnessed this in the lobby and the elevators as well. It’s unsightly and creates an unwelcoming environment for your business travelers.

It was conveniently located to downtown, just a 5 min uber to everything. The rooftop pool and bar area was really nice. Our room was pretty spacious and cool industrial design. There was a hookah spot as soon as you stepped out the front door, a chicken and waffle brunch spot right across the street and a really dope coffee shop with amazing drinks and espresso martinis right next door.
It wasn’t in the nicest part of town but still not bad. The pool was extremely small and the rooms were a little stuffy and humid.

Poor
Big rooms with spacious area and comfy bed.
They do not advertise that the top level is a pool open to the public that plays loud music until 1/2am. I went up there and the party was not even that hype enough to justify the volume. The public parties also had random people in the building, drunk and belligerent at all hours. Also did not feel safe in the elevator or in the lobby with drunk men constantly making cat calling and hitting on women. It was as if the hotel was constantly the outside of a nightclub.

A quirky converted factory with great rooftop pool and bar.decor was quirky.
The noise. Both Friday and Saturday evening were loud because of rooftop bar. It was difficult to sleep and music, noise continued until 2am both mornings

Very Good
The overall vibe is great. The room was really clean, nice decorated and spacious. Loved the rooftop pool as well as the billiards and shuffleboard downstairs.
Two things I found quite frustrating unfortunately one was that there was constant sound of running water in pipes in the room. The other was that the chromecast in the room didn’t work and it had a tamper proof box to stop anyone resetting it. Also the location is pretty close to the city via train/uber but there isn’t a huge range of places to eat near the hotel.
Thank you for your information!
