Place was under going considerable renovations, which limited available amenities. This would have been fine if it were disclosed and/or price reduced for the inconvenience but that wasn't the case.

Prime location and friendly staff
Our heating unit failed repeatedly during freezing weather, requiring engineering visits most days and making it hard to sleep comfortably. The hotel was under heavy construction with plastic coverings, closed amenities, dust throughout, loud building noise, and an unmaintained pool.

The hotel inn general is good, clean, personal Polite.
The elevators were out of service, and the hotel did not provide any discount for this inconvenience. On New Year’s night, we had to use the stairs from a different side of the building, and no one explained this to us. Many people were confused. We were lucky that no one was using a wheelchair.

Wonderful
Once we learned the back way to walk to the Mockingbird station it was convenient to take public transportation everywhere. The staff were nice and the room was comfortable and clean. It was unfortunate that we were there before the lobby, bar, and dining room were done with the renovation. It should be nice when completed.

Great location
Valet parking was very unorganized, and unprofeshional, we waited in the cold wind for 15 mins while they looked for our car and when he pulled it in he was facing the opposite direction of new guests pulling in off the street to check into the hotel causing more traffic and people honking at us and flipping us off for going the wrong direction but it wasn't us, it was the only way we could get out. Horrible! Get a better Valet service, there's not enough parking.

The pool was not open and we were not advised. Brought kids 4 hours to swim. Room was dirty. Fridge did not work. Staff was blah.

Very festive. Clean and modern. Easy access from the highway. Lots of good shopping and dining in walking distance.
Valet parking was a cluster (not the attendants, they were great!). Driveway is a bottleneck and cannot accomodate the busy incoming traffic.
The booking app nor the property disclosed that they were under renovation. The restaurant was closed off however a smaller menu was available in the lounge. That food and service was very good.
The room did not have a hair dryer, which the front desk did provide when asked.
And, there is no dresser or closet. There was a open shelving unit that had a bar with hangers,

I was able to check in early which was SO helpful! Also it was not crowded so very quiet which was nice. The Christmas decor in the lobby was festive and cheerful.
There is a little mold in the caulk around the bath tub.

Location was great…walking distance to shops and restaurants at Mockingbird Station and short drive to SMU campus, downtown and other Dallas sites. Room was spacious, comfortable and everything was updated and clean. Nice lobby and bar area. Would definitely stay there again!
No option to self park and $43 valet rate per day was a bit steep but guess that’s typical for the area.
