I was able to check in early which was SO helpful! Also it was not crowded so very quiet which was nice. The Christmas decor in the lobby was festive and cheerful.
There is a little mold in the caulk around the bath tub.

Location was great…walking distance to shops and restaurants at Mockingbird Station and short drive to SMU campus, downtown and other Dallas sites. Room was spacious, comfortable and everything was updated and clean. Nice lobby and bar area. Would definitely stay there again!
No option to self park and $43 valet rate per day was a bit steep but guess that’s typical for the area.

We have stayed here for years. Various things have changed under Marriott, all for the worse. Coffee makers, towel quality, ice services, etc have all declined. The main lobby space, bar and restaurant was remodeled from group friendly tables to stylish "high backed chair quads", we hate it. Our main complaint on this last stay is we booked five nights for a queen room on Bookings.com, prepaid, and when we arrived the room we were assigned was a king handicapped access. When we complained, staff said no changes, that all third party bookings are given what is "left over". We had no recourse but to endure this room for the five days. This is not acceptable. If they participate in third party at all, reservations should be honored. Self parking is awkward, out back in a high rise private lot. Expensive valet is available.
