I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding my stay at:
La Quinta by Wyndham Dallas - Addison Galleria
Address: 14925 Landmark Boulevard, Addison, TX 75254
Check-in: August 3 | Check-out: August 4
Booking ID ending with: 4443
This hotel was completely misrepresented on your platform and posed serious safety risks to my family:
1. The lobby and hallway areas are under heavy renovation, filled with dust, debris, and construction materials. This was not mentioned at all during booking.
2. My room was in poor condition, including:
Rusty door hinges
Leaking showerhead
Water stains and cracks on the walls and ceiling
Unsafe door lock
3. The most serious issue: At around 5:00 AM, someone knocked on our door claiming to be police. They did not show any ID, and when I asked them to leave, they walked away. This was extremely frightening and felt like an attempted scam or break-in.
We were traveling with children, and I felt unsafe, misled, and unprotected in this hotel.
I request the following:
A full refund of the booking
An investigation into the hotel’s current safety conditions
Escalation to Booking.com’s customer protection team
I have attached photos documenting the construction and room issues and am available to provide further details.
