I was there overnight. There was plenty of eateries around. I was there for the Dallas bike ride so I did not venture out very much at all.
I did not like that. I had to pay for a cheaper parking next-door, but it wasn’t very far so slightly inconvenience but not bad.

Good location for Art museum and restaurants.
Nice big room.
Nice pool.
No coffee in the lobby! Maybe put coffee in swimming pool area.

Enjoyed being able to see the giant eye, and down to the pool from our room.
The pool had no heat to it, so on a 90 degree day it was still too cold to swim in without the sun being out. Hotel can't do a lot about it, but the homeless population of Downtown Dallas puts a real damper on trying to enjoy a weekend there.

I do not recommend it. When I checked out, I was late due to road conditions while returning from a walk until 2 pm, so they deducted $88 from my card. When I went to the reception and asked them about the deduction process, they told me that it was a late check-out fee, so I accepted it and did not object. When I left the hotel, I was surprised that another $88 was deducted without right. After a short period, $198 was deducted from my card by the hotel without right or notification from the staff or email. I filed a complaint with Booking and I am waiting for them to do me justice
