Very Good
Close to the Market Hall where we came for a competition (perfect walking distance). Late night check in made easy. We stayed 5 nights. The room (208) was quiet, A/C was working properly, not too noisy. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean. Good value for the price. Our cleaning lady was very friendly.
The down side was the breakfast. When I booked, there was supposed to be coffee, juice and a few items to eat. We are easy, we didn't expect fresh food or anything. Reality was: coffee when the owner was not turning the machine off and maybe juice. Nothing for kids, nothing to eat and no replacement if the coffee ran out.

Disappointing
The location, and the front desk.
The promise of breakfast when we booked when they stopped serving breakfast a couple weeks before we got there. There was also an arrest with 13 police cars at 10pm that lasted a while in the parking lot.

The ONLY thing that was positive about this shelter was that it was cheap. Oh, and right next to a Denny's. I honestly can't think of anything else.
The location gets very shady at nighttime. The staff couldn't care less about any questions. The room and furniture looked horrible, dirty and smelly. The bathroom was a disaster. Ancient old bathttub and tabs, toiletboil was yellow and nasty. Cracked tiles on the floor. Terrible plumbing. Although the bedding seemed clean, black hairs were everywhere, also in bathroom. STAY AWAY from this dump, because it's one step above a homeless shelter. Big mistake. The pictures online are deceiving. Avoid at all costs.

Helpful staff, value for money. Room is big.
Not good to walk outside at night time. Not quite sure if the area is safe. If you are with friends, that's okay.

Poor
The location and the mattress.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but our experience at this hotel was unacceptable. As soon as we arrived and entered our room, we found a dead cockroach in the bathroom. We tried to stay calm and overlook it, thinking it might be an isolated incident. However, on our second night, we saw another cockroach—this time alive and quite large—crawling around the room.
We called the front desk for help, and a staff member came up and killed it. Instead of showing any concern or offering an apology, he simply said that cockroaches are “unexpected.” What made the situation worse was that he returned later just to mock us, laughing and making fun of us for being afraid of a cockroach, saying things like “how can you be scared at your age?” This was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful.
The presence of cockroaches is a clear sign of poor hygiene, and the attitude of the staff only added to our discomfort. This was not the level of cleanliness or service we expected. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Pleasant
The beds were very comfortable and the air conditioner was perfect . The water pressure in the shower was terrific . The fridge kept everything nice and cold. The breakfast was basic but just perfect for us. Choice of cereals toast fresh muffins juice and coffee. More than enough to start the day.
When we arrived the man at the desk was talking on his phone to someone via EarPods the entire time whilst checking us in. Extremely rude. There wasn’t any coffee/tea making facilities supplied as per their listing. When I asked about it they said they had a problem with the listing. It also stated that the unit was entirely on the ground floor and suitable for wheelchair access. It was actually on the first floor which wasn’t a problem to us but could be a problem for someone else. The bathroom was very small and extremely hot.

The staff were really helpful with letting me choose a room that is quiet enough.
I would have appreciated if there were answers to my booking.com messages. The breakfast would have been more enjoyable with some fruits.
