The staff were superb, friendly and helpful. Lydia was exceptional. The view was fantastic, double queen beds full ocean view. Convenient location.
Most parents let their children run around unsupervised, screaming and yelling and jumping into and bumping into people using the lazy river. Many people "swim" in the lazy river instead of using it for floating with tubes thereby ruining the experience. Attempted to get a beverage from the bar and they would not serve without a drivers license (I'm 51 and spouse is 55) so this was an inconvenience. Who swims with a photo id at their own hotel? Would have been better to age band people upon check in. Guests also run down the hallways, blast music and slam doors after 10pm, so beware.

Friendly staff!
The existing amenities appear to be in need of refurbishment, as they are outdated. Furthermore, the closet door knob detached upon operation, and the tub's stopper was not properly secured. Finally, the water pressure in the tub and shower was inadequate.

What I liked the most about WG was its inclusivity of animals. Their pet policy is remarkable allowing people to travel with their animals (exclusions apply). Next, I liked that at the main entrance front desks were very welcoming and friendly. They made me feel so welcomed and provided insight on highly recommended food spots nearby. Then, I liked the appearance of their building on the low level and clean restroom facilities. They always ensured the floor was mopped after visitors came from the water area. Also, the elevators are quick, I was nervous because they had 2 at the main hotel building but, they were very quick. In addition, their amenities were convenient with the clean outdoor water area, a bar, restaurant, downstairs kitchen area, laundry option etc. Overall, the appearance of the facility on the lower level had a luxury appearance which I liked. Also, parking was convenient with a large garage area that is gated and free.
Unfortunately, what I didn't like is that they signed me up for a timeshare meeting, but mentioned it would be a tour of the facility. I felt pressured and didn't feel comfortable with how the main boss Glen makes you feel! I felt like it was a scam. Also, they said a 90 min tour turned into a tour that began at 9am and lasted until 3pm. Insane. This really took time away from our vacation. Next, the toilets in the BR were too low, the tub wasn't cleaned, and the dresser doors wouldn't shut after you put a few items in them. The faucet water wasn't flowing with enough pressure and the shower water needed to be run awhile before it got warm/hot. Lastly, I didn't like how far their dog relief areas were from the main entrance. There needs to be signs in the facility indicating where you can go, I asked staff and they seemed unaware. By the time I could get my dog there, she alleviated on the cement. I think they should have a mini dog park at different points on their property. And all guests should have a tour of the facility without timeshare tactics.
