The beach was right there

The parking was awful, the parking garage was so small scratched our rental - Breakfast was ok, not very hot - the pull out bed was broken and requested 3 times to be looked at or changed - also the queen beds were full beds - the bathtub did not drain - and you could smell marijuania every where.

My experience at the Monterey Bay Suites was phenomenal, especially for the price! The breakfast was great, although I would have loved it even more if they had served waffles. The beach access right across the street was definitely a plus!

One thing I didn’t like was that the water flow from the tub was very slow. However, being right in front of the beach, I understand it’s probably difficult to completely keep up with sand, dirt, and everything that comes along with a beachfront location. Overall, it was still a great stay and I completely understand the ongoing challenge for them.

The locations was great.

The parking garage has very narrow lanes to drive up. Especially if cars are parked in the compact car spots closer to the building. I watched a truck scrape the whole side of his vehicle while trying to go down. The elevators were an adventure. There were 3 you had to watch to see which opened and you never know where it will stop. It went up and down several times before stopping on our floor. The breakfast was a joke. A lady sat down there and pestered people for breakfast tickets . We ended up having to go get breakfast and being it back to our room because the food was nasty. Make sure you don’t leave a single thing out of order, other wise you will be charged. I will definitely pay a little more and stay somewhere nice the next time we visit Myrtle beach.
