The location to the beach was good. There were two restaurants within walking distance. It was centrally located and close to everything.
We were not early in checking in. We were sent first to a room that had not been cleaned. We went back to the front desk and they moved us to a second room. We unpacked and set up the room with our belongings and went to leave. I found that the door would not lock. I called the front desk and tried to explain that the door wouldn’t lock. They didn’t understand and sent a maintenance man who immediately stated that they knew the door didn’t lock. He slammed it multiple times and it finally locked one time. I unlocked it and it never locked again. He asked if we wanted another room. We then moved to the third room and had no further issues. They do not change out the towels daily unless you go by the front desk and ask for them.

The staff were friendly
Everyone of us woke up with red bites on us! I thought la Quinta hotel was a safe clean place to bring my family! Bathroom was dirty , and apparently bedbugs… I literally have had to spend my vacation washing our entire case of clothes before going anywhere else! Expensive and disgusting!

Cleanliness in the rooms - need to focus
More on bathroom and ceiling in bedroom was had a lot of paint peeling. No toilet paper and had to go down to lobby to get it .
