So much more than I expected. Extremely clean, great layout, very spacious, excellent all around
The only problem we had was we couldnt get any of the 3 tvs to really work. We got the hotel channel which was only about the resort. Called the front desk and were informed the other stations wouldn't work and they didnt know why. Not a big deal we werent there to watch TV anyway.

The location was perfect for what we needed. For the most part the property was quiet although I could hear upstairs neighbors easily.
I didn’t like that I had to pay a resort fee for amenities I wasn’t using. There was no mention of resort fees on booking website. We arrived after 8:00pm and left before 9:00am. We shouldn’t have had to pay resort fee.

The fact that the kitchen came stocked with pots and dinner ware was amazing. It helped with fixing dinner during the storm. The fact that the pool was literally just a two minute walk down the stairs was also great. Me and family are definitely coming back for a longer stay to take advantage of the other amenities. I do want to shout out Mary who worked on July 6 around 8am. I called to extra check out time to figure out a plan of action to leave in the storm and the hour that she gave was amazing, even though we left on time at 10am. And then I had to call back because my niece left her headphones in the room and we didn’t notice until we were down the strip. We left all room keys in the room as instructed but Mary had an extra key waiting for me to go back into the room and we did locate the headphones as well!!! Thank you so much Mary for doing that!!
While we only stayed for a day, allowing for an earlier check in time would be great. As it takes us 2 hours to come from NC to SC and it would have been great to be able to check in earlier than 4pm, I did make the request but it seemed it came from an automated system rather a live person.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Holiday Inn Club Vacations South Beach Resort and the incredible staff who truly turned our trip around.
What started as a complete day of stress and disappointment due to an Airbnb situation quickly transformed into a stay of absolute delight. My family and I arrived at the resort around 9:00 PM after a long, exhausting day. Even though Booking.com had allowed us to book a room, the resort technically had no availability. That’s where Dey and Zheek stepped in and completely changed our experience.
Despite the late hour and the circumstances, Dey and Zheek went above and beyond to help us. They took the time to find us a beautiful room that was clean, comfortable, and truly exceeded our expectations. Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine care made all the difference. They were friendly, patient, and made sure my family and I were fully taken care of. The way they handled a stressful situation with such grace and warmth instantly lifted our spirits and made that night so wonderful.
The next day, Aaron and Kate continued that same exceptional level of service. They assisted my husband and me with canceling a charge we needed resolved, ensured everything was handled properly, and even provided written confirmation so we wouldn’t be charged. Their attention to detail, reassurance, and willingness to go the extra mile gave us complete peace of mind.
This was our first time visiting South Carolina and staying at this resort, and thanks to these four amazing team members, it was an experience we will never forget. The staff truly made our stay, and because of them, we will absolutely be back.
A heartfelt thank you to Dey, Zheek, Aaron, and Kate for your outstanding service, compassion, and dedication. You turned a difficult situation into a memorable and joyful experience, and we appreciate you all more than you know.
