Breakfast was great, and the facility was nice. Our room was clean and di d nt have an odor like many beach hotels have.
The bed was very uncomfortable and the pillows weren't very "pillowy". Had to use two smashed together to support my neck. Other than that this was an overall excellent stay.

Breakfast wasn’t worth going down for - not because it wasn’t good, but if you went anytime in the last hours there was absolutely nothing left. I could see signs in the kitchen area with the replenishment guidelines for food and they were easily not being met. Other guests noticed as well, and today someone had to ask for coffee to be put out.

Great location to Barefoot Landing and everything else we wanted to do in Myrtle Beach. The staff was friendly. The room was huge and the beds were super comfortable.
Our room was not ready when we went to check in. Check in was at 3 and our room wasn’t ready till closer to 5. The staff was very friendly about it but it was kind of disappointing after a full day of traveling. Also the TV in our room did not work.

The breakfast was great! My boys and I enjoyed it each morning! I was literally the first room on the first floor, so I was thrilled to be right there front and center! The pool was definitely a hit! My oldest son stayed in the pool each night for hours after we came back from our daily adventures. I loved that it wasn't located too far from the beach, but it was also not crowded with people everywhere like you see on the strip.
Honestly, there wasn't anything that I didn't like.

The location is great. Close to the beach, restaurants, and stores.
Not the quality I expected, based on its rating. The pool was cloudy/over chlorinated. The room had an overwhelmingly bad smell (that I couldn't identify). The hallways smelled like bug spray. Breakfast was ok, but once an item was out, it was not replaced/refilled. There was a loud verbal fight between staff members (in the lobby). But the room was comfortable and clean with a large shower. The hotel has been updated and looks modern. I would not stay here again.

Air conditioning not working properly.
There was constant humidity in air & everything in our room damp. Sheets & our clothes got damp & unable to open drawers due to wetness on wood .
