The location was great. Staff was very nice.
Needs updating, very loud because of road traffic (like no sound barrier). Parking lot is VERY tight. My 6’2” husband had a hard time with the low shower head.

It was across the street from a public access to the beach. Michelle (front desk) was really nice and she upgraded my room and accepted me before the time of the check in. My room was beautiful and very comfortable.

Location
I called and talked to a Stephanie before I made the reservation and drive from Ohio. I was using someone else's card to pay for the room. Used it on booking and paid for it. I called David's Landing because sometimes the place will require a card. She told me to send their ID and the card of the pic with permission for me to pay with their card. I did that. (So I thought. I made a typo). I got there at 8pm. Sign on door showed closes at 9pm. The place was already closed. I called her and she said she closes early, at 8pm, in off season. (I didn't know she didn't get my e-mail yet). She said she was coming, that it would take about a half hour. I called her back an hour later cause I never heard from her. She said she called her boss and her boss wouldn't rent to me. She said she didn't get my e-mail and they closed at 8 and I don't have the credit card on me. (I already paid for the room through booking). Her boss said she can't do it. I asked her why I can't resend the e-mail. Ihad to run around, looking for a place to stay again after 10pm. This is why I called before I left my house in Ohio. I didn't know the office closed at 8pm, nor did I know she didn't talk to her boss already. She assured me that I would be taken care of.

The front counter staff were very friendly.
The room had several types of bugs in the living area and bathroom. Table top was sticky. Lighting was insufficient. No hairdryer.

Was very pleased with how close it was to the beach. Wasn't expecting that. Person at the desk made dinner recomendations and they were correct, it was very good. Had a very large refrig for a hotel room. That was really helpful. Loved the set up of the room with a sofa and a table to eat at. Woman at the desk was very nice and helpful.
Didn't know there was a pool until the day we left. Although the place was clean it had a broken drawer which made it look kind of trashy and of course un-usable. No luggage rack and not enough hangers in the closet, Furniture kind of ugly and nothing matched.

It was so close to the ocean! We could walk. So convenient. The suite-style was also so great, with a nice kitchen and a full-sized fridge.
It was all pretty great, especially for the price!
