Disappointing
Rooms definitely have a dormitory vibe. Lots of glaring fluorescent lighting.
No remote available for the tv, notified the staff but they did nothing to solve the problem.

Airport shuttle starts running too late for us to take advantage of it. Had to uber to the airport. I booked there specifically because of the shuttle to the airport. I only stayed there for 3 hours. Was not worth it for me. If I knew the shuttle was limited I would not have stayed there.

Cleanliness and location. Shuttle to JFK
The only reason I didn’t rate the hotel higher was due to my room being next to elevator. Heard it all night. Staff reported room due to my late check in. Others also checked in late (it’s NYC). Won’t risk stay again. Noise was disruptive.

Very close to the airport for my early flight. They also had a shuttle
The heat in my room was broken. It was 55° in my room and even though I set the heat to turn on, only super cold air came out! I asked for a space heater that barely worked and was delivered by an employee who did not care that the heat was completely non-functional. After 3 hours, the room was finally warm enough to actually sleep. But I didn’t get to the hotel until midnight the night before, so I had about 4 hrs sleep until I had to leave for my plane the next morning. The walls were paper thin so I heard every single thing that was going on in the hotel as well. For about $300/night, this was unacceptable.

Exceptional
The staff were great. We missed a layover and needed a place to stay. They were able to let us book after 12:10 am, so it was great to have an option.
Went to the front desk and they checked us in. Not only that, but they had toiletries for us to have some decency. The room was quiet, we had no windows, but it worked.
Then we had breakfast, very good and had a nice staff helping around the breakfast area.
It was our fault, but we did not know they did not have a shuttle from 11:00 pm to 5:00 am. Just make sure you know that time period means uber.

The beds were very comfortable. The A/C worked well. The rooms were very clean. The shower was really nice. Not much noise pollution from outside or other rooms nearby. The location is like 10 min to JFK, which is nice for arrival and departure. There's also a free shuttle, though we didn't use it because we had family in town that got us to and from the airport. The free breakfast is really good, food is served hot and fresh. Staff was always present and friendly to us. There are a lot of tables downstairs which are good for families trying to eat meals together! They have affordable snacks and beverages available, too.
Rooms are small. The hotel is located next to a water pollution control plant, so it smells like sewage outside. The smell is not noticeable inside at all, though. Floors in the dining area are INCREDIBLY sticky, which is offputting. They were sticky the entire duration of our 4 day stay. Parking at this hotel is pretty challenging for larger vehicles. There are limited street parking spots nearby, although some hotels in the area have larger lots.

Friendly staff and frequent airport shuttle
Neighborhood is a bit off. Rooms are very small and basic and the shower was not properly working, so you pay quite a lot for what you get.

Disappointing
The staff was very nice and hotel is super close to the airport.
The room was unbearably cold. I was there with my 6 yr old daughter and we had to sleep in our jackets.
